The world is ending. Dave Strider can’t tell if the bender he’s on is because of that, or because of how bad stuff is fucked up with Rose, or just because his own bullshit has finally caught up to him. All he knows is that if the world DOES end today, maybe that wouldn’t be the worst thing.

Of course, he can’t throw in the towel. His fate is already written. He raises a resistance. He duels the false presidents. He stands against the Empress herself. So maybe that’s why Skaia allows a glitch that carries a consciousness across sessions that might save Dave’s shitty life.

Sorry about the long delay between this chapter and last, I’ve been splitting my attentions between two fics! Thankfully my other fic is only 7 chapters and is half done, so the delays won’t be much longer :)
