okay, so y’all gotta understand how good All I Know Are Sad Songs is. this fic, you guys. it’s jettisoned me into 12+ hour long creating sprees twice now, and i look forward to selling my soul to rosa in the end of times.
for the moment, i can only express my gratitude by hemorrhaging colour onto a computer screen, so that’s what i did.
let me break it down for you: AIKASS is about Alpha Dave, who is super famous and has everything he’s ever wanted and hates himself and his entire life. on the edge of doing something drastic, he runs into someone vaguely familiar who is going to change his entire life. (Karkat. it’s Karkat.)
this is one of the best DaveKat fics i’ve ever read and my only advice is PLEASE mind the tags; the first few chapters are intense (but worth it).
