Crocker Magitech is among the foremost developers of innovative magic and technology for the modern home, and the team of Crocker, Lalonde, and Strider are among the most important cogs in their clockwork machine. After a long dry spell without new projects to work on, Jane hits it big with a grand new discovery: a remote island out in the South Pacific that’s teeming with lost majyyks to rediscover.

I want to begin this post with a mea culpa.
In the wake of the last post covering Jake’s awareness of events unfolding around him, I was lucky enough to receive feedback from a number of really great people. Among that feedback was the idea that I was kind of overstating things with regards to Jake’s intelligence to the opposite extreme.
I feel that this is true! Not because I don’t think Jake is aware or that he was an actively getting Jane to lean one way in her answer–I still think that’s correct, and in fact I have more evidence to present in favor of it under the cut.
But I worry in my zeal, I presented a skewed image of how I think about Jake–essentially, I was trying to correct what I perceive as the fandom problem of invalidating Jake’s intelligence completely and painting him as a moron. I think it is a fair criticism to say I overcorrected in that endeavor.
I’m hoping that admitting that my choosing to tone down certain claims is a direct result of valid and insightful criticism will allow you to give me the benefit of the doubt, and make it easier for you believe I am being genuine in approaching this subject and interested in and willing to incorporate feedback where I find it logically consistent. This is important to me for reasons that will soon become obvious.

This tumblr is barely a week old but I guess I wanted to draw homestuck fanart since last summer without letting me… do it?
Thanks to amazing artists here (to whom I never talked to, to be honest and just followed silently their works… I’m sorry it’s so weird…) I decided to make this side blog to… basically throw up my love and affection for the alpha kids. ___ Also, all god tier tests insist that I’m a heart player and I used to disagree so much with that because I have just too much difficulties with relationship but well… maybe??
Classpect tests are always going to pale next to self-examination. A test cannot suss out the 'arc' of your personal story and where it should go. Only you can. I used to get a lot of "Seer of Life" and "Rogue of Mind" and other random shit, never the same combo twice. Eventually, I just knew what I would be. (That said, a LOT of fanpeople are Heart aspect, so that sounds legit, lol)
Yeah, one time I ended up “Muse of space” and I was… “isn’t it just a fucking legend title? Can someone be that??” and after that, “Heart, heart, heart”… I think it also respond to the fact that I’m hypersensitive…
That said, prince of heart seems totally legit for you! You’re destroying us!

I probably have the messiest way to color because it’s honestly just flat colors with a restrain palette and had lights with an overlay layer at the end! (sometimes, I put the line in overlay too)
I still have a lot of fun trying to understand how his anatomy works with legs and tail! *You can imagine me as Jane discovering the island, this is me*
