This is a non-profit, digital fanzine with a flexible schedule that features art and writing dedicated to the Striders and Lalondes in relationships with ANY and ALL homestuck characters! From romantic to angsty, this zine will have it all. The zine is PG-13 with an optional NSFW add-on! (Provided you are 18+.) This means both minors and adults can apply!
All money will be going to a charity chosen by the participants. If enough interest is garnered for a small supplemental print zine, those will be created as well.

I usually work with a picture of the person, but if you are not confortable with sharing one there’s no problem and I can work without! (some have drawings of themselves and/or sprites and this is also good reference!)

I see most of your art comes from discord suggestions, is anyone planning on write about your Borderlands AU? I don't know much about the game but the idea is really cool. Your art is amazing!

with everyone off tumblr for the day, everyone seemed to be horny on discord instead and borderlands AU happened
Dirk:
Atlas Assassin, solo agent, bodily augmented for mobility. He has high performance legs that let him leap at incredible speeds and take massive
falls. He also has a reinforced spine to prevent damage during his
landings.
My fave bit of physicality described for him is him
chasing a bandit vehicle, leaping onto it and kicking someone off, then
leaping away again before anyone knows WTF happened.
Jake:
A siren on Pandora, ostensibly having an adventure. He claims to be a
Vault Hunter but noooooot really? That sounds scary and there are giant
fuckoff monsters in vaults. No thanks. But he likes traveling and
exploring old ruins, eridian and corporate alike.
Jane: Hyperion
middle manager who is assisting Jake remotely with supplies and
information and keeping Hyperion itself off his tail. When Jake finds a
Vault, she’s going to be famous and run this town. Shame its taking Jake
foooooreeeeeever.
Roxy: Bandit queen,
or maybe just a vagabond, but a relentlessly friendly one. Somehow has
Dirk’s ECHO frequency and loves to check in on him while he’s on
missions.
Plot: Dirk is sent to take
down an alleged siren. Unfortunately the siren’s element is electricity,
so his body almost functions as an EMP. Dirk finds Jake in the midst of
fighting off scavs. After swiftly ending their lives, he tries to move
in on Jake only for his cybernetics to go haywire. He falls, and knocks
himself out.
Jane advises Jake to leave Dirk to die in the wastes.
But that seems mean. Instead, Jake ties Dirk up, slings him over his
shoulder, and carries him along.
So begins a beautiful…… thing. Relationship of some kind.
Omg could you do Roxy and Jane in the Borderlands style too please? I can see Jane as Fiona from Tales from the Borderlands, and maybe Roxy as a wannabe Zer0! Sorry, your drawings just inspired and excited me!

In the Borderlands AU, when Dirk gets too close to Jake, do his legs stop working? Like does Jake control the EMP effect or is it like a constant perimeter around him that disables Dirk's body enhancements?
Jake is not very good at controlling his powers. It’s part of why he travels alone; most people don’t want to deal with him randomly knocking out electronics and killing ECHOnet and such. If he’s perfectly calm then he can prevent doing that. Buuuut if he’s tense or defensive, then yeah, the EMP effect goes off.
So when they are calm together, Dirk has leg usage. When Jake is upset or wants to unleash his EMP powers, roboboy is going down.
Dirk can shower with his legs on, they are sturdy and all-weather. However, he’s really terrible at navigating unstable terrain, like sand and swamp. His blades sink right into the ground and it sucks.
Dirk’s blades are digistructed at will, meaning he can still walk on normal feet if he wants. But he doesn’t often want to, lbh.
Jake’s closest corporate affiliation is with Hyperion. Obviously Hyperion wants to use a siren’s powers, but Jake’s are really fucking annoying. He’s a walking EMP, so he kept just knocking out entire sections of Helios. Fine, says Hyperion, we’ll send him planetside and he can help us find a Vault!
Jake slipped his Hyperion entourage within hours of stepping foot on Pandora. Now, he’ll only answer Jane, and claims he’s still looking for that goshdamned Vault! It’s gotta be around here somewhere!
Canon Check: For this AU, Atlas never completely fell. The Vault of the Destroyer fucked them up, but not to the point of total collapse. Thus, Hyperion never vaulted (lol) into power, and they are major players but by no means top dog. Also just to make this AU even work, Handsome Jack isn’t a thing.
Roxy is some wandering vagabond bandit, sure, but she keeps close watch over Dirk. Ostensibly this is to be friendly with him, but also keeps her in the know about what Atlas is up to. When Dirk is sent after a siren, Roxy sees it as her ticket to a Vault. Shame Jake is really suspiciously bad at finding Vaults.
Jane is going to run everything just as soon as she gets Jake to find thaat Vault. Most of her conversations with her superiors can be summed up with: Them: “Will you just talk some sense into him?” Jane, eye twitching uncontrollably: “What. Do you think. I am trying. To do.”

Jake is actually the only “Vault hunter” in this setup. And it’s mostly a reason to travel and explore, he’s not very serious with his search.
Jane is a middle manager for Hyperion, she’s the only one in contact with Jake. She assist him to find said Vault from up there. The Vault once he finds it will help her becomes the president of Hyperion.
You have drawn one of my favorite drawings of Dirk strider that holds a very dear place in my heart, and I wanted to thank you very much for all you create it’s truly incredible and I’m glad I’ve finally discovered the rest of your work. By the way the specific piece in question is the one with the flowers growing from his neck.
