it feels like a cop out???what happened to all the foreshadowing about condesce’s curse? lord english’s invulnurability? the implied 3rd scratch of caliborn’s session that created the alt calliope who talked to jade?
When we zoomed into that tiny sphere in jade’s hand, it felt like it was a preview of the happy ending that could be, and like it was setting up for Lord English to come and swoop down and steal their happy ending, leading to an emotional battle to finally defeat the indefeatable big bad.
It was beatiful yeah, but…. I feel kinda let down. the ending was way underwhelming and left way too many loose threads untied. i’m expecting an update tomorrow saying PSYCH or whatever meme sweet bro and hella jeff use, followed by english raining destruction. idk.
