As for your question, I’ve never taken life drawing classes either, so I just make up for it by means of various books, tutorials, drawing tools, and etc, which can be found on the Internet.

You could also ask your parents/friends to aid you. For instance, I frequently ask my dad to flex\raise\turn his arm\leg\etc too see how muscles work.

Also I recommend you to read an anatomy book and practice using posemaniacs/ this tool or anything similar.

I’m not a good adviser, but I hope this will help.
