well, here’s it, my very first homestuck-related creation hah
I got into homestuck somewhere in July-August 2011, though I don’t remember how I found out about it, probably noticed some fanart on DA, since I didn’t have a tumblr blog at that time. Anyway, it happened to be during the period of mass fantroll creation, so most of my first homestuck art was fantroll-related. And after that there was a long period of drawing Erisol and sometimes other characters.
All in all, I’m glad I was in the Homestuck fandom. Maybe I wasn’t the most invested in the story fan and I definitely can’t say that I read all Homestuck or even half of it, but it gave me an immense inspirational boost. I was pushing myself to draw better with every artwork, tried different things, started drawing backgrounds and, most important, I had lots of fun. Not to mention that homestuck fandom was one of the most supportive fandoms I’ve ever been into ;w:
