This one features past relationships with poor resolutions, incredibly power-hungry past relationships with poor resolutions, and our favorite olfactory-based duo of Pyrope/DStrides struggling to get over said relationships through angry banter and frustrated makeouts. It also features the usual, you know, some weird gore, magic powers, and mind shenanigans.

Draw all the things! Day 3 — Garden/Light
You’re surprised she’s a doctor, with the amount of decoration she surrounds herself with. Beads drape down from her horns, from her bare shoulders, from her neck; giving the impression she’s a child of the stars. She wears a starched and collared apron, marking her as a graduate of the Doctoral College of Biologistics. The garment is made of specially woven cloth that ascertains any blood spilled on it will stain permenantly. Hers is immaculate– just glancing at the clean, white fabric gives you the feeling of utter safety. Her medical gloves, however, do not give the same impression.
“Hello dears,” she says, her perfect eyebrow arching towards you, as though to show off her intricate motor skills by the level of ‘plucked’ it achieved. “What can I do for you today?”
I’m tempted to make an elaborate fantasy D&D-esque Homestuck AU. Incredibly tempted.

just got home and settled in and started writing some more Dave Strider and the Rise of What’s This Story About Again when I was like ‘oh shit i have an art meme due and I can’t kill my groove what draw’ and five minutes later here it is.

We’ve spent a long, long time following this silly kid. We’ve been wooed by humor, riveted by the plot, entranced by confusion, and mad at how our beloved characters were treated. We’ve had so many damn emotions about this series, but we’re still truckin’ along. I’m glad to be on this twisting road with all of you.
A familiar note is produced. It’s the one Desolation plays to keep its instrument in tune.

He’s always at the top of the city’s ‘best-ranked bodyguards’ lists, in-demand not just because of his superior skills with broken hand-me-down swords, but because he’s incredibly magic proof. Over the years, he’s tacked on old prayer rags, blessed scripture, discarded monks’ robes, and favorite pages from books to ward off any minor cantrips. You once asked him why his skirts are so big, and he said 'because they’re full of secrets.’
He found a cuirass once in a cursed temple and put it on for the hell of it. It turned him into a bird for three years and won’t come off, but left him able to stare down a typhoon generated by six warlocks without blinking. His prices are exorbitant– only one or two seers in the whole country can afford him. 'Gotta pay for the birdseed somehow.’
“Hey,” he says, as you approach him. “Got an appointment?”

sometimes I just want to draw skanky 3am after-party blues dancing and not care that neither of these characters could or would get up and dance like this. the closest either of them got to actually dancing was like, those three weeks where Karkat was convinced he would turn into Vera Ellen from that one scene in White Christmas if he dreamed hard enough. dream big, buddy.

You’re not sure if she’s after the crown or genuinely likes him, but you’re positive that she doesn’t know either.

She’s the most popular Seer in the city, not only among those seeking cures for various magical ailments, but also among the hired assassins of offended nobles. Her infamous snark is almost as sharp as her remedies, painful and expensive things that bring health with a jolt of power. Her price matches her fame, and her doors are always open on weekends to milk the wealthy of their money. Ask her why her price is so high and she’ll answer, “Have to pay for Dave’s birdseed somehow.”
