Hmmm. Any preconceived rules you have with art, forget em. Do what’s best for you. Not good with consistency? It’s okay make sure it looks good and have fun.
Also be constantly open to trying new methods. For example if you’re in artblock, but you know what you want to draw, using a different style can help
Nice tip for lighting. Make a new layer above your picture, make it solid black, then with a soft airbrush, color over the areas you want to highlight lightly with an orange color. An for the edges, use the add glow layer (or luminosity if it works better) and add those highlights with a light yellow.
And that’s that. This isn’t the most perfect tutorial, but I hope it helps a bit. You, of course, don’t have to follow this exact process. Do whatever works for you.
