have you read house of dirk? i refuse to read hs^2 bc i dont like how all of the characters are written and treated by the narrative, but i do find the concept of dirks control over the narrative and his need for control really interesting. house of dirk satiates my desire to see dirk’s 4th wall breaking and understanding that he is in a story constructed by an outside force. its an illustrated fanfic on AO3 but WARNING it never finished and ended right as the overarching plot started to be revealed T_T i still think its worth the read you just gotta know ahead of time that its unfinished so you don’t get too disappointed
