Hmm, that’s a good point, not only about Mages but also about Seers, finding ways to power themselves or others up could be a worthwhile use of their powers. Mages however, can have quite flashy powers too! The fact Seers and Mages ‘know’ doesn’t mean that’s ALL they do, as I’ve said before, Aspects themselves seem to imbue some people with straight up majyyks they can cast, like Rose with her light beams (More voidy back during the Session). But yes, finding ways to power themselves up and cheat the game could be a think Mages do.
I feel a Witch or Heir of Breath would Airbend more naturally than a Knight, but I wouldn’t put it past a Knight’s abilities to Airbend!
Well, ‘Making’ air currents definitely sounds like it could be Airbending too. Really, maybe all Breath players get windy Airbending.

I’m certain the latter was both Terezi and Rose during the Meteor Trip. It was impossible to play against them. Deja-vu could work well for a Mage too, I like that.

I think a Seer and a Mage’s suffering is intrinsic to the nature of their powers, I mean if you’re able to see outcomes or futures, you’re bound to see things you would’ve rather not have seen, or wonder if you could’ve prevented something you saw some way. Also we do see a Seer of Mind, and her poison is, indeed, regretting her Choices.
Serving and Weaponizing anything physical sounds rad honestly, I would see them using Jokerkind and equipping anything and everything they want, and being able to turn just about anything into a weapon- Basically MacGyver. Serving Space could also mean both giving others some time to themselves and leaving them alone to not be overbearing, or literally offering them EVERYTHING they posses. Likely both because if they’re pushing everything they have on others and giving away everything they have, I would need some Space too.
… Wait, Serving others Space? Giving them something physical? Offering everything to everyone? Talk about topical, we found Santa Claus’ Classpect.

I honestly don’t know if the Seer of Space would be able to navigate the Furthest Ring since there technically is NO Space in the Furthest Ring. Goddamn Lousy Non-Euclidean Voids. I believe a Seer of Void would be more adequate. Zoom Vision is kind of a given for the Seer of Space, though, as well as Omnipresence, just being able to See anywhere.

That sounds about right. There’s a bunch of God Tiers that could age and de-age huh.
I mean, technically by what we see with Aranea, her eyes didn’t blank out until after Condy Snapped her neck, although she removed her ring and snapped her neck pretty much at the same time. But it would seem that the Ring just kind of brings someone back to life and doesn’t necessarily need to /stay/ on afterwards to keep them alive? It does keep regenerating them and healing them if they get wounded though. Callie’s pretty much wearing it at this point because she’s married to Roxy, of course.
As much as I would love that to be true I need to state these are just my silly thoughts and not actually confirmed canon, albeit the Snapd8 did have Roxy, Jane and Callie in an obvious Poly Relationship. God Bless WhatPumpkin.
Stealing Life can be seen as killing someone, so it sounds like they may be able to Drain someone’s Life to heal others- Moira, think Moira from Overwatch. They’d also Steal Agency, likely taking down someone powerful or wealthy to empower those they’re supporting. They’d also be able to just yoink Pumpkins anywhere, because Pumpkins are plants and so they’d be Stealing Life, and as we know Pumpkins are the easiest things in the world to Steal.
Knowing and Understanding Life sounds like they’d have an easy time with anatomical and biological knowledge of just about anything, I’d recommend being a Doctor. They may also be able to See Life, as in know distinctly between what’s Inanimate and what’s Alive, letting them spot Mimics and perhaps Feel how many living beings there are in the area? Could work well as a sort of radar to spot people through walls or find hidden enemies. Knowing Agency too, that’s weirder, having an understanding on what lets people do things, maybe then being able to just do anything they want because they know exactly what will allow things to happen or what will make people not stop them.
Think bigger. They could definitely do that, but remember Roxy? She Removes the Lack. Someone who Improves the Lack and someone who Makes the Lack Better sounds like they could ambivalently make things disappear and appear at will. May want to stick with making things Disappear if you don’t want to have too much overlap with Roxy. Other than that though? Remember Void and Horrorterrors go hand in hand too. Healing through Dark Magics of the Horrorterrors could be fair game as well. Aside from that, they could likely, indeed, harness the Blackouts or rather, be able to obscure just about any piece of information. Oh hey, who was asking before for a Classpect able to make people forget your very existence? A Maid or Sylph of Void may be able to just erase every trace of you ever existing.
A Sylph of Mind would’ve been a very nice Classpect to have after Mituna’s Accident, because I seriously would love to know what the hell happened to him. Healing psychological ailments and improving and increasing Choices, either by allowing their team to be able to do more than what they thought possible, or by enforcing and making what they chose be better somehow. Also Making Mind and Making Thoughts, they may be able to implant ideas in people and do telepathy stuff. Maybe even materialize things they think.
Stupid God Tier Powers Idea: Sylph of Mind literally making brains and tossing them at people. Not too effective but gross enough to keep everyone away.
I would assume a their ability to make something disappear would have a limited range, which is to say, they’d likely have to engage the Black King regardless to Void that Scepter out in the first place.
Huh you know, I keep forgetting when talking about Space how it also relates to the Properties of Matter, that would definitely be an interesting use of those powers.
I mean I’m pretty sure a Seer of Void would be straight up blind to begin with. It’s also possible people don’t believe their prophecies.
I’ve already answered the Knight of Doom, BUT let me add a thing I thought about not long ago. I got a lot of people asking about how Doom would directly use their Aspect, like Breath with Wind and such, and I’ve been saying Lightning and maybe some Dark Mist or Poison or something like that, while also neglecting one of the most obvious things here. Fire. Tying in with the exhaustion of resources Doom represents, Burning Out, Extinguishing, Consuming. Fire is a great embodiment for Doom as an Aspect.
Clover canonically enjoys bondage, for him getting tied up is a good outcome.
Let’s be honest, Clover has a god damn crush on everything that moves, but yes, it’s implied that Clover has a crush on Karkat after the fight. Whether that’s because of the Bondage or for other reasons, it’s unclear.

That’s an interesting outlook, if someone ‘Makes’ new choices and creates outcomes, would they be able to extend a Doomed Timeline? I like the concept. Not quite Altering the Alpha like John’s Retcons, but definitely opening up new possibilities that do lead to the Alpha, or that give more time to a Doomed Timeline.

That’s definitely an interesting concept! Hmm… Specially Seers, Seers seem more prone to influencing others to produce a change from their prophecies, where Mages seem to lean more towards actively influencing said change. The question here is, would this be a Seer of Doom guiding people towards their destruction, or would it be, say, a Seer of Light that’s intentionally straying away from the path they see, seeing how far away from the Alpha they can go?
If the Destruction of the Mind is of their own Mind, it could be fitting, but not really necessary.
You could make a case for it, but I’m not so sure. Destroying seems more aggressive than Removing or Taking Away.
I mean the only hint we have of this is Sollux hearing the voices of the imminently Deceased, he Knows of their Doom. Meulin, however, seems to be more aware of what relationships she thinks would be the best together and tells people how they should get together. However, yeah a Mage of Time may have some good idea of what other iterations of themselves are doing around, hopping back and forth and doing time loops…
Hard one to answer, you two could definitely be a powerful combo, but it would depend heavily on /how/ you combined your efforts and how you acted! Pages get Served their Aspect, so it’d not be hard to imagine you as a Sylph basically pocketing your sister, Healing and Buffing their abilities to bring out the full potential of their power! A beacon of Life, and powered by a Sylph, I feel a Page of Life powered up like that would be able to do Anything they put their mind into (Agency), heal their wounds non-stop (Life), and have anything living (Plants, Animals), serve the in their cause. That sounds kind of badass.
Doom seems to have the most ties with Technology, Psiionic Energy powering up things, Computer Programs written in ~ATH, and such.
That almost sounds like cheating but I’m sure it’d work.
