What's the purpose of a player in a doomed timeline sleeping when the timeline resets and transferring their memories to the alpha?
This is hard to tell, because it’s unclear whether this is a Mechanic of the Game, or if this is merely because Rose is a Seer- We see Terezi also gathering memories from the GO! Doomed Timeline after all.
Either way, it seems that when the last Observer of a Timeline disappears- That means, everyone’s dead or gone except one person, and this one person ‘gives up’ or ‘goes to sleep’, the Timeline ceases to exist. This is the only clear vision we get on how Doomed Timelines just. Stop. And while not specially necessary or super useful, Rose used this method to give her Alpha self all the knowledge she gathered through the few Months they were in the Doomed Session, tell her to get to Dave on Derse early, wake her up early as well, and potentially giving her some insight on where to go next- Contacts with the Horrorterrors, Knowledge of the Game…
Dave came back from the Doomed Timeline with items and as a Sprite Guide for Dave. Rose sent her Information back, instead. Fitting for a Knight and a Seer.
I had these thoughts run through my mind today. 1 can there be more than one fuchsia blood or do they fight until one remains? 2 is it possible to have a male fuchsia blood or is it all genetically defaulted to female?
On Alternia, there’s the Empress and one Heiress, which will have to eventually face the Empress for control of the Empire. With Condy as the Empress it pretty much means every Heiress is doomed to die because she’s just way too fucking much to deal with. We don’t, however, know if there’s no other Fuchsia Grubs in between, or if other Fuchsias are culled because there’s already a Heiress. They seem to be an extremely rare caste, but I don’t see why two Fuchsia Grubs couldn’t happen due to an really rare circumstance.
As for gender stuff, even Jadebloods are a ‘mostly’ female-caste, which makes it seem there’s a variety of genders in every Caste, even if one seems to predominate. Also we have Canon NB Trolls now so, knowing Trans Trolls exist, Castes seems even less gender restricted.
i wonder what an all hope player session wouod be like... or a session with more then one time player, dose that mean theres 2 reboot constructs? and other rare accurences like that in diffrent sessions like secret bosses or randomly powerfull artifacts spawnned into a session by chance
Well, an All Hope Player Session could be like any other Session depending on what each relates their Hope to and what their Class is, so who knows. Two Time Players, however, it seems that there’s only one Scratch Construct, and sometimes not even a Scratch Construct- Aradia doesn’t have one, implying there’s not just ‘one per Time Player’, but one per Universe.
As for Secret Bosses or Secret Loot, with Yaldabaoth giving Jujus as Loots it definitely makes it possible there could be weird secret Loot in some Lands. As for ‘Secret Bosses’, well the Lich Queen seemed like a one-time boss kind of deal during Cascade, right?
in the original homestuck comic, do you think that there were multiple successful sessions? i mean, come on, it's unlikely that only 4 kids out of the entire earth managed to get a session going
They’re not ‘just 4 Kids’ though, they’re THE Kids SBURB ectoengineered to play the game, they’re the ‘original’ SBURB Players so to say, the only Four that are actually REQUIRED to play the Game. It should be reminded that only Pre-Scratch Earth has more than a Session- Post-Scratch Earth had the Temple controlled by Condy, the Beta Trolls had Sollux and Aradia get the code, and Meenah found the Temple on Beforus’ Moon, so first of all having multiple Sessions is rare.
Then there’s the fact Rose implies there’s a ton of Walkthroughs that end up shortly before the Entry Process- The Kids are required by Paradox Space’s Alpha Timeline to enter the Game, so that they can create themselves in the first place. Anyone else isn’t that lucky, and their Meteor Timers may be too short to even begin the game, not to say Earth was obliterated after Jade’s Entrance from the energy wave Bec produced stopping the meteor.
So you have a period from the Beta’s Release to Jade’s Entry for people to enter, and then a ‘successful session’ requires EXTREMELY Specific Parameters- A Time and a Space Players at least, a Volcano to be brought into the Session, not to say, having information about the First Frog which is a Jade-Exclusive Thing. If there’s ANY SBURB Session that was successful other than the Kids on Earth, it would produce a Cancerous Universe much like their own.
So needless to say, SBURB is fucking ruthless. We do know some people enter the game though- John’s Neighbour goes God Tier. But other than that we don’t know anything about how others Sessions go, and how many end up doomed.

what's the difference between the beta sessions and the alpha sessions?
The name. They’re definitely different Sessions, yeah, but SBURB is compiled from the Frog Temple, there’s no such thing as a true ‘Beta’ or ‘Alpha’ versions, it’s always just a gateway into the Incipisphere that allows house-building.
I'd imagine the Sburb would supply you with a volcano if you don't enter the game with one, just like it gives you an internet connection and elecricity so you don't have unnecessary obstacles.
I mean, it definitely may, but also, ‘unnecessary obstacles’ have you SEEN SBURB? Everything in the game is a labyrinth of riddles and weird game design choices, I wouldn’t be surprised to see it just screw people over because they don’t have a Volcano laying around.
doc cubal said all successful sessions have a time and space player, dose this mean anny session with theses players habe a better chance of winning? or absalutly given you cant make a universe without a space player, and without the time player no ones there to guide the team in the right direction know what they have to do wile playing?
As I’ve mentioned before, they’re absolutely necessary, merely because without them the Universe cannot be created.
dident the beta kids play there sessions in a whole day tho? granted dave played for 3 i feel like other people could win the game too, therd likely be someone creative enough, or maybe just smart in general, whod find some way to effectivly use there alchemiter, or powers of there aspect, mostly likely meing time,light or hope. despite the kids haveijg issues with there game, it was mostly due to there gardians dictating and manipulating players or being an impossible threat
The Kids spent a little over a day in their Session I believe, with the Trolls spending a few Weeks and the Alpha Kids sitting for nearly half a year waiting for the rest to arrive. It’s not a matter of being creative or having time though, the Game is just kind of ruthless sometimes.
with “take” as a thief’s keyword, could one say they take advantage of rules (loopholes, pushing limits, gaming the rules of the universe) as opposed to a witch breaking (changing) them?

Whoops typing error, sorry. Basically, I wanted to ask for your opinions / first thoughts on the known trolls from the Troll Call so far. Like, just all of them so far.
I may hold off on this until all of the Troll Call is out to give more detailed thoughts about each of them, but so far I love every one of them, and I really want to see how many of them differ from the Fandom Conception and how they actually are in the game.

What do you think of a Witch/Maid of Mind being able to manipulate/"make" an alternate path for the Alpha Timeline by creating a new string of events that still causes the needed stable time loops, just differently than how they were originally?
Now we enter in the struggle between the forces of inevitability and the choice of the people within the Timeline- Who’s to say the Alpha Timeline didn’t require to be changed in the first place to lead to the proper sequence of events? Even the Retcon was a necessary step in bringing LE into being, sometimes the line between people’s Wills and the Timeline’s Will conflict, and others they coincide tremendously. Ah, the philosophical musings of the true meaning of ‘Freedom’ in a Fated Realm.
Making and Changing Choices does suit a Witch/Maid of Mind for sure though.

For a moment I confused the ‘God Tier Thoughts’ for the ‘Gruesome God Tier Thoughts’ and I was seriously trying to see what was so bad about this, before I realized I just messed up.
I feel like the Bard of Light would have like, just the shittiest luck? Like not even "Oh lol I stub my toe all the time" but like actually dangerously bad? Like, if something can go wrong for them it totally will.
What if the opposite is true, though? A Bard that just causes havoc around themselves because of their luck, at the most convenient moments, things break and die and they’re just. There in the middle, unharmed.
What do you think happens to those who go God-Tier in a dead session? How would they survive? Would they go insane, especially if they are the only ones who went God-Tier?
Not necessarily, I don’t think so. If they’re the only ones that went God Tier, the moment they gave up or lost consciousness the Timeline would fade away with them, as we see when Rose went to Sleep when she was the last person left in Davesprite’s Timeline. Likewise, I’d assume if everyone in a Timeline acknowledges it’s a Doomed Timeline, that there’s nothing left to fight for and just gives up, they would fade away just like that.
However, there’s two things to consider- One, why not just fly to the Furthest Ring? The Session is doomed, if they have no other means of doing anything about anything at all, they could easily become like Aradia in the Dream Bubbles, just kind of. Hanging out with dead people. They may definitely go crazy if they spend all of Eternity hanging out in the Bubbles, but hey, we also know the Furthest Ring is going to collapse into a Black Hole eventually, so it’s not Forever they can be out there lounging around.
The second thing is… How does God Tier resurrection work when you’re Doomed? Do the same rules apply? Or is the Heroic/Just denomination more lax? Can God Tiers die by their own hand? There’s a lot of room to headcanon this kind of stuff but… It gets pretty dark when you go too in-depth.

The GENT of PISS is that who is Gentlemany and shows proper Manners and Businessman-like skills through the use of Urine and their Vitriol. It’s the Passive Counterpart to the SIR.
The WASTE of SPACE is that who Does Absolutely Nothing with the Space they Inhabit, except Exhaust its Resources. It’s the Active Counterpart to the LACK.
The NICK of TIME is that which always Appears at the Time they’re most needed. It’s the Passive Counterpart to the MATT.

wait so lemme get this straight: when a person dies on their Quest Bed and their dreamself goes God Tier that person who died is ACTUALLY dead, like they're a ghost now but what happens is that the Dream Self becomes the "dominant self" and gets the title God Tier. So all this time the "real" kids who are dead and it's just their dream selves. Also that makes me never wanting to go god tier unless it's on the Sacrificial Slab which seems like a different story altogether
See, the thing with God Tier Ascension is that both Dream Selves and Waking Selves share the same consciousness. This is transferred from one to the other as they Wake Up and Fall Asleep. And when either of them Dies, regardless of God Tier Ascension, that instance of them does seem to have a Soul of their own, the Consciousness frozen in the moment of death, while the remaining Self lives on.
This makes neither Waking nor Dream Self the ‘Real’ selves, but instead, it’s exactly like in SOMA. Whenever your Consciousness is Transferred, there’s always a ‘Self’ that goes into the new Body, and a ‘Self’ that is left behind. Which ‘you’ are after Ascension? Well that’s a literal Toin Coss. You win, you live on as a God Tier. You lose? You’re dead.
What would a rogue of light be able to do offensively?? no one is telling me what they can do past ‘move luck’
Stealing Light, a Rogue of Light might use attacks that blind the enemy, be it temporarily or permanently. Stealing Luck can also be an offensive, direct thing as seen with Vriska, her eyes glow and there’s literally a beam representing her Stealing Luck, so that could happen. They may also cast a veil of darkness and attack from the Shadows like the Rogue they are. Miscellaneous Light Majyyks are also a probable thing they could have.

You could Argue that ‘Stealing someone’s Time’ and redistributing it could have aging or de-aging effects on people. Freezing someone in time and allowing people to walk in frozen time also sounds Roguish enough, and much like the Thief, as I’ve said in the past, I argue about the possibility of skipping bits of the TImeline by stealing Time and nullifying events that happened during those moments like King Crimson.
What active fighting powers do you think a witch of void will have in light of what we see Roxy doing in the fight vs the condesce
Forget Roxy’s powers, they’re very specific to the Rogue of Void, and specifically, to Roxy’s take on the Rogue of Void Aspect. Rose actually acts like a Witch of Void for a rather substantial amount of time when she goes Grimdark, but also the ability to Manipulate the Lack of things and Emptiness by itself is a terrifying power- Beyond being able to obscure things or get Grimdarky Powers, a Witch of Void might straight up tear people apart by ‘Changing the amount of Void within someone’, as well as possibly replenishing any source of anything by ‘changing how deVoid it is’? Manipulation of Lack can be an intense power.

Well, molecular destabilization would be more the realm of Space I imagine. Void is ‘nothing’. It’s literally Nothing. So rather than disintegration, it’d be truly… Erasure. Something Ceasing to Exist entirely.
what are some general abilities all Space players might have?
They wake up early on their Moons, but other than that, Space is broad enough that it seems there’s not one unified, general Space Power everyone gets.
with the jack thing i was talking about the diffaculty of the game dosent seem to be just diffacuot like that, since the kids who playerd were the kids comes hosen by the game, all the diffaculty seemed to be coused by how they were naturly, mainly vriska creating bec, and orjack getting the ring with becs prototypeing
I mean, yeah Jack is a big factor in making the Kids’ game more difficult, but even without Jack, the Game itself is kind of brutal? Already before entering the Session you can easily die in the meteor shower, and afterwards, if you’re not careful, you’re just going to get smacked around and stabbed before you even get to any semblance of a boss- If Nannasprite couldn’t Heal, John would’ve died facing his first two Ogres ever.

Yeah, whatever you prototype will definitely defend you, but there’s only so much Sprites can do when fighting higher levelled characters, not to say, if you even prototype it with something useful, you could end up with a useless sprite (cough cough, Calsprite) if you mess up, or if you intentionally sabotage it to weaken the Underlings and Bosses.
Hey so I’m new to homestuck, I just met the trolls and I’m slightly confused so pleas no spoilers if you can manage it but I have a question. I was talking to my friend about homestuck and she briefly went over aspects and stuff and said I would be a Sylph of Heart and I’m wondering what powers and stuff would they have?
Oooh fair enough! I recommend you not looking too much around my blog because there are things about just about everything that happens in the story.
I may have done the Sylph of Heart, but since this is a request for someone that doesn’t want to get spoiled, basically a Sylph of Heart is someone who ‘makes’ ‘heart’. Sylphs are fussy and nosy, have some pretty deep passions for their interests, and have the ability to Improve, Heal, Make and Enhance their Aspect. Heart relates to the ‘self’, emotions, feelings, your persona, the Soul in itself. So a ‘Maker of Souls’ may literally give a Soul to inanimate things, or heal Soul wounds- Perhaps healing the ‘split’ that happens in a Horcrux-like thing, or something like that? Additionally, they would be invested in getting people into good relationships and making people feel things for others.
I should point out that Mythological Titles are left intentionally vague by the story, and there’s no clear, canon definition of ‘Sylph’ or ‘Heart’, making all of this just speculation. But it’s a good pointer I think as to what a Sylph of Heart could do.
What type of powers would you think a Canga Sylph of Space would be, and do you think a Sylph of Space could be more of a creative being rather one who heals? I've been switching between Maid and Sylph because I myself fit way more with the Sylph role, but creating is what I love/ do more. I’ve already done the Sylph of Space before, but I should point out, Maids and Sylphs are both Creator Classes! They Make- One is Active, the other is Passive, but they’re BOTH Makers. Maids can Heal, and Sylphs can Create and Enhance, it’s not clear cut between them, so there shouldn’t be any confusion here! A Creative Sylph is a thing.
Also I don’t quite think Caste has anything to do with the Powers, directly at least! It’s more of a personality thing, which, yeah can be influenced by the Caste, but like, personality is THE factor that differences what two people with the same Classpect can do with it.
Not only could you alchemize it, but given the Omnitrix is 8-letters long, and it’s such an interesting artifact, I bet the code it’s something like. 0mN1tRiX.
Do you think Sburb would let you use the full extent of the omnitrix or would it only let you transform into trolls and cherubs (Maybe horrorterrors???)
If you get the Omnitrix from Alchemizing a Wristwatch with a Ben 10 DVD Case, chances are since you’re taking it from the series’ Canon, it’d be all the weird species from the actual show, but maybe ALSO canon ‘stuck species too?
remember though, the omnitrix has millions of species in it, and can scan other DNA too! theoretically, if encountered, one could transform into a carapacian, consort, denizen, etc.

Carapaces and Consorts may work, but would Denizens or Underlings even work with that? Do they have DNA? They kind of seem more like Game Constructs than Living Organisms. Carapaces do have DNA because they’re made through ectobiology in the Veil, and we have allusions to Consorts being Born and having a Life Cycle, so we can also assume they do, buuut, yeah.
I think everything either has DNA if it's living or a captcha code if it isn't. Part of the comic is how anything can be invoked by simply knowing the right series of symbols to represent it.
True enough, but I would have to add that, the fact you can Captchalogue a Human Corpse and a Living Consort imply even living things have Captcha Codes. Also we even get Dave’s Brain in a Jar as a Captcha Combo, so, yeah.
Silly god tier thoughts. Players eating aspect related stuff (mainly thiefs and rogues). Thief of Void drinking from empty cup. Everyone side eyeing this Rogue 8f blood gal and her bottle of "red juice". Thief of Rage being internet troll. Malicious thief of space munching down universe tadpole of another space player out of pure pettiness. Rogue of Hope eating a plot culmination because the story had tragedy as genre and culmination was a horrible tragedy that would have killed his friends.
Are you implying the Thief of Heart’s power would be Vore.
A soul vore. A soul. Vore. I imagine something like soul eater manga weapons - thief keeps swallowing souls and they are sorta stored inside and the thief gets powered by them, while souls can be eventually released or taken away. But thief also can assimilate them into own's soul with all the horrible side-effects.

High level Maid of Space as a walking pocket dimension. Maid of Heart who is made.... Of Maid of Heart?
A Maid of Space always having room for something anywhere would be hilarious, if Sylladexes weren’t already pocket dimensions of their own. And a Maid of Heart could maybe be more than one being in the same body? Made of Souls. Imagine Platinum the Trinity from Blazblue maybe?
Imagine the plot where a baing that is a newly formed congregation of souls ends up entering s----b as a Maid of Heart and then having a character arc dedicated to finding out what does "identity", personhood and self mean for them.
Interestingly enough, it may mean a Maid of Heart could be prone to becoming part of a Sprite Squared.

Holiday Classpect concept: a Seer of Void knows what everyone is getting for the holidays by seeing into the wrapped boxes; They give everyone smug looks about it. Everyone learns to hide the Seers gifts in plain sight to prevent them knowing what they're getting at least.
Various Seers could pull something like that off, but what about the Seer of Mind seeing other’s choices and judging who’s been Naughty and who’s been Nice?
I noticed that hope players (Cronus, Eridan and Jake) were all romantically rejected. What are your opinions on that?
Jake wasn’t necessarily romantically rejected, rather he isolated himself from romantic advances. Most of the time it was him who called the shots about rejection. Cronus and Eridan, my best Meta about them, is that they destroyed their Hopes of getting it on with anyone because they are douchebags.
