What classpect do you think an empath would have? I know emotions relate to heart, but it also makes me really good with animals. I've nursed a lot of injured animals and insects, and I've always viewed myself as a sylph of life, but I can also read emotions very well.
Sylph of Life works well! With the empathy with animals works well, and sure you can read emotions, but it seems you really like the Sylph of Life and Animal stuff, so that’s the most important part of the equation! Aranea is an Empath and she’s not a Heart Player- Hell she’s not even particularly nice after she decides to take matters into her own hands. So yeah.
All this talk of homestuck related dreams reminds me of the time I dreamed I was in an old school train car that was decorated like a kindergarten on the inside, lit only by its open door and Karkat was there clinging to me while we sat behind a counter - like we were hiding from something. That was no doubt one of the weirdest dreams I've ever had. Somebody please analyze it because I have no idea what to think.

And then i dug through the tags on tumblr and went 'well, fuck. They both fit pretty nice' and i could use some help
I don’t tend to do this stuff too in-depth, but if you like both of them, try sticking with the one that comes to mind first and seeing how it feels! If after a while you still have doubts or aren’t too sure, switch around, and see if either feel good.
All Mages- Maybe arguably except the Mage of Space, and even then I’m sure you could make a case for that- Are able to see into the Future. They do it through different means and maybe see different Timelines, but they’d be able to see along the Timeline in different ways.

Not necessarily, but little known fact: Did you know during the Claymation Masterpiece, the fake, vine-looking flashes have a Volume Icon on the top left? All of them have, maybe Hussie? Making weird mouth noises in-character as Caliborn. Making him one of the few characters with a ‘canon’ voice.
TW; abuse, manipulation But there's a pattern with Dirk and those he loves, probably playing into his godtier. But Dirk seems to try and manipulate someone to fit a mold he likes, even if he isn't aware. Like Bro made Dave fight and was always attacking him and scaring him to make him "stronger". And with Jake he built a fighter bot and set it to kill mode. (Either Dirk or Hal did but still) Does this play into his role as the Prince of Heart?
Dirk does seem to have a tendency to try and make others stronger, although that may be more of a Dirk Thing than a Prince of Heart thing. In fact, for Dirk rather than Bro, it fits Jake’s Classpect too. It does fit a Prince of Heart in a way, but Jake liking rowdy fisticuffs means Dirk has a reason to send him Brobot- He’s Serving him a little dream of his, except of course Dirk is absolutely god damn Extra and overdoes it heavily.
First Guardians are also described as Omnipotent, but even First Guardian and even English’ Powers have their limit. English IS the closest thing to an Omnipotent God, though- Eternal, causing the greatest amount of destruction, influencing the events in the story- But even then he lacks true Omnipotence. He can do a lot, but he cannot do EVERYTHING. Fitting for a Yaldabaoth-like Figure, he may be seen as ‘Omnipotent’, but in the end he’s just a False, Cruel God.
in my dream I was a Prince of Void surrounded by blackness and eternity and nothing all at once. a piece of paper literally flew up to me and said "Prince of Void" although i'm nothing (at least consciously) like one
That’s an Eerie Dream, if you’re nothing like one, what if you’re one of the Know Classes, and you saw the fate of your Session? Destroyed and torn down by a Prince of Void, broken into Black Nothingness.
first guardians are only described as being Nearly omnipotent
Once we’re made aware of their limitations, the description does change to ‘virtually omnipotent’ most of the time, but from time to time they’re always talked about as ‘Omnipotent’. John calls Jade ‘Semipotent’ and I think that’s the best way to describe it. Lord English is described by Scratch as ‘considerably more powerful’ but not even then does he say he’s ‘truly omnipotent’.
Even the Horrorterrors are described as being Omnipotent and Omniscient- Deities they are, but given English is sort of slaughtering them even this Omnipotence is not true. And Skaia is more Omniscient than Omnipotent, so, yeah. Hell- Even the AUTHOR dies, in a way you could say Homestuck is all about how Omnipotence doesn’t mean anything when everyone is a God.
Arguably, maybe the Seer. The Mages seem to focus more on insight and using what they know a lot about rather than gathering information like Seers do.
Couldn’t a seer/mage of hope always know how to achieve there goals. Like a seer of hope would be able to see the most hopeful outcomes, as well the paths that lead to the things they deem hopeful. Because if you go by that logic they could see how to do anything they want
A Seer/Mage of Life or Breath could work for that as well- Life for Agency to know what do you need to do to be able to do what you want to do, Breath for Personal Goals and the Plot. Hope being tied to Beliefs and Dreams may fit just as well, too. Whether they’d know how to do what they want or if they’d be able to, though, is another thing entirely, of course.
I know. :V I’m not saying they’re described as fully Omnipotent- I’m saying that Bec Noir and Bec and Scratch and Jade are occasionally called ‘Omnipotent’ by the other characters, even though it’s always been and will always bee just nearly Omnipotent.
Could a mage of light know just as much as a seer of light? I honestly thought the difference between the seer and mage is how they learn and exprerince there aspect. Seers only understand there aspect comprehensively while a mage understands it intimately
There’s various interpretations that could be valid, so I’m no one to say which one may be more ‘correct’ right now, specially when it fits just fine. Yeah of course a Mage of Light could know more than a Seer- But it depends on so many factors that it’s hard to say which would know more and when or of either of them at all.
I had this strange idea where Hope players have the ability to generate light-based angelic weapons? I think it would only work on villains, which would kinda explain how it has the power to defeat Lord English?
I like that, I’ve always liked the idea of a Knight of Hope summoning a Hopey armor or sword and wings a-la Sepulchritude, but I’m not sure about defeating English with Hope Weaponry.

I’m pretty sure any Specibus can be made thematic to your Aspect with enough Alchemy, but Denizens do seem to drop unique weapons so there may be something to that.
My second ever HS fan character was a fankid with a heart condition whose god tier was the Maid of Heart and I thought that was extremely clever. I think there might still be something to salvage from that idea but maybe Maid isn't the most fitting. What do you think?

To think about it, time players are in hurry because they are aware of the passage of time. That time is a limited resourse. Space players, on the other hand, are aware of the state of things - space is vast and everything is moving. There is no need to hurry for them.
How would the classes of heir, rogue, and sylph interlope with the aspect of mind? Mind is a really interesting aspect to me.
Of these, the only I’ve not answered is the Heir of Mind, and they sound like someone that’d change their mind quite a bunch! Their decisions would be constantly influenced by others and their surroundings, and at the same time they’d influence those around them. They’d also likely present themselves differently to different people, to try to get along with them, or just because who they are passively sort of changes depending on who they are with!
For powers themselves, Changing the Mind sounds like Thought Manipulation, perhaps sending intrusive thoughts and not letting whoever they’re against get the upper hand. Making a Third Choice sort of like what John Did could be possible- Adding new points of view or opportunities to do things differently and not necessarily get stuck down a single road. General Psychic Powers could be a thing too.
why don't planets even need First Guardians? like what are their purposes because their existence to protect the planets doesn't really make sense to me
Why don’t they make sense? Given the only First Guardians we’ve seen are produced by the Game, sending a Guardian back in time to ensure the civilization in it prospers until they’re able to play the game, sounds like a good idea.
i relate to the sylph class personality wise. but there is one major problem, gender dysphoria. its probably stupid but its, mmm. would it be best if i just pick a class thats not, yknow dysphoric?
It’s not stupid at all! Classes aren’t tied to Gender though- If the Naming stuff makes you uncomfortable, and you want to change Classes, that’s fine, but remember, if it’s the Outfit that’s making you Dysphoric, God Tier Clothes are intimately personalizable! Not only can you change the outfit like Meenah and her like, 5 different Thief Outfits, given the Shoes change color depending on who the character is, and how little things like a Bowtie or Suspenders seem to appear during the Ascension to personalize it more, if you’re uncomfortable with long dress skirt, chances are SBURB would know already and have a Sylph outfit more tailored to your preferences. The God Tier system may not care about what you think is ridiculous or silly, such as the Knight’s Hood or the Page Shorts, but as a Reward for a Player that’s come so far, it would surely not be that big of a douche.
I, personally hc my sylph god tier pajamas or whatever the costume is as some cozy baggy pants with the bifurcation thing still there. I mean instead of a skirt it's pants you know?
would a seer of hope be able to do more offensive things? my bf chose that title because he experiences flash forwards to hopeful situations, most recently a domestic setting for us when i was able to finally visit for a few days, but they are very fighty and protective, enjoying berzerker type combat, going into a battle rage to protect loved ones sorry this is a weird one, could you help ? <3
Using general Hope Majyyks to fight or fighting to protect the Vision of a Hopeful Future could fit a Seer indeed!
There’s always something beautiful in horror, I think. So, my land is “Land of Flowers and Truth”. Symbolism: Flowers- laid back/easy going personality; Truth- I’m a Seer of Mind. I try to guide others, reveal the truth about mind aspect. How can I interpreate truth in my land? Would giant flowers with texts of different books written on them be alright?

if you stretch the definition of Guide for a Seer then they could potentially "guide" people through their aspect but in a negative way. Like for example a Seer of Rage giving opponents horrible rage induced nightmares, "guiding" them through Rage. does this make sense? idk?

Isn’t Grimdark a sort of Berserk Mode in a way? I mean, nothing says it has to be one or the other. For all we know you may be able to go Grimdark AND Trickster at the same time.
Loaf land anon here, my land is Land of Overgrowth and Fauna. Overgrowth has to do with my personal quest (having a chaotic mind), and Fauna as I am a Heir of Life, but also because the power I chose is animal control ;u;
Oooh, cool! Also a thing people don’t talk about enough is the fact SBURB has NPCs outside of Consorts and Carapaces, like. Brains for Sollux’s Land, Angels for Eridan’s. I wonder what kind of Fauna it’d generate for a Land like that.
could a Mage of Void know how to use Horrorterrors to their advantage or like slightly manipulate shadows to attack or cloak themselves and their attacks (ex they shoot an arrow but it's invisible until a bunch of arrows are shot into your back) they can't be hit as they have shadows engulf them and you until you're standing in a Void just being constantly assaulted by attacks you can't see coming. how plausible is this?

I love the idea of magic smooch wound healing. As for the Land, stretch it just a little bit like Nepeta’s Land, and you could have LoREaL.

my land is the Land of Ranges and Streams (LoRaS) im the maid of blood, the land is made of a ridiculous amount of mountains connected with bridges and able to be passed through by caves, with rivers and streams running around the point was to divert the rivers to be manageable (like veins) and remove blockades to connect small villages in valleys and on peaks
That sounds like an absolute pain in the ass to navigate, but I bet the landscape would be cool.
the purpose of LORAS was to make navigating everything easier, literally getting rid of the excess of Breath(movement), along the way the "badguy", a prince of breath, inadvertently helps with LORAS as do the other players and NPC's, the community coming together to help with the effort
If you’re gonna use the Breeze to destroy the blockades and make navigating easier, you’re also Destroying the blocks through Breath.

Rose's WANDS OF HT were leaking this dark ichor... huh. Maid of Void might produce it and add it to drinks for some sinister purposes. Or "poison" arrows with it. Thief of Void might use it as beverage... okay, most classes would be able to use it as beverage. Page of Void injecting it by some means.. Like biting? Idk. Heir of Void might be able to turn into this ooze. While Prince of Void would be constantly wiping that darn ichor off furiously.
