My name is funny in this case - Land of Law and Disorder.
Your Land is pretty much.

No idea honestly! Some people are just a mix of various things, we’re all humans, nuanced and complex. So… Maybe see what you like the best power-wise?
Another example of what I say about the Active-Passive dichotomy being hazy, all the Classes have that, where they act both Active and Passive at various points, INCLUDING the Master Classes. But there’s always context that gives more insight on why they’re doing it. Also do remember for a lot of her story, Vriska is trying to act as a Sylph, so that plays into it as well.
Honestly it sounds more leaning towards the Thief than the Mage the way you put it, but if you’re unsure, as I’ve said before, just stick to one and see how it feels for a while.
The difference is that a Mage takes the information to learn about it, they want to Know things, whereas the Thief wants to make use of the Information. Light is a messy Aspect because it conflicts with the Know Classes- If you have Info, you Know about it after all. But the Thief gathers it for a purpose, where a Mage may only want to know for the sake of knowing, or know intrinsically and put it to use, not because it’s their main purpose, but because they already know about it enough to put things in motions.
Not to say, Light means more than Information, so a good chunk of what they do could be relating to other things with Luck. Think about it this way- Rose gathered information about the Alpha Session and offered exposition about it to Dave to be prepared for what was to come, and just have a general idea of the situation. In turn, Vriska gathered information about the Retcon Timeline and formulated a plan based on it- And failed completely because she disregarded the details and importance of what was going to go down in various different places.
The Kids’ Session is special enough to be called unique within Paradox Space. Usually, most Sessions just die off.
Sounds good enough really, it doesn’t have to fit 100% Aspect-wise and it’s still a cool concept. Also good GOD another Mage of Light.
Oh look we broke 1000 followers! :D
Hmmm, I would actually see her as a Thief of Void! She operates in the shadows and remains off the radar expertly, to the point of having erased her own name- Until Zarya catches wind of it of course. She does steal Information, but not any kind of Information- She’s after the dirty secrets and plots of organizations world-wide. She could also be a Rogue though, if you think of her trying to unveil these world-wide plots as something selfless, but given the catalyst was her childhood and she tends to tease her ‘partners’ at Talon and ruins an entire operation to further her own agenda, I would say she is a Thief indeed.
Rather than ‘Viable Sessions’, I tend to see the Space-Time requirement as something to make a STABLE Session. I do believe you may be able to Undoom a Session and win it in a number of ways, however you will most definitely need to pull off some Deus Ex Machina shit to make it happen. Hope and Light may be a good start, but it’s likely the ‘Luck’ and ‘Hope’ would manifest as something from ANOTHER Session luckily getting there, rather than beating it on their own.
I would say no, Trickster Mode is explicitly framed as pretty much a Cheat Code, it’s not something that’d happen without external influence on SBURB.
There may be non-Juju ways to access it, but not just through Class Powers.
I’m assuming you’re talking about a 2-Player Session rather than the average Session and. I think yeah honestly, I think SBURB could be winnable in a standard 2-Player Session, but it may be a bit tough on the poor players.
Again, do remember- Unless there was another Space Player in the Session, and even then we don’t know how SBURB would deal with that- That a Space Player tends to have Frogs in their Land and Echidna as their Denizen, merely because it’s a requirement to actually win the game. If you’re going for a Null or Void Session straight off the bat, though, that’d work.
I don’t think animal thematic-ness is bound to a single Class or Aspect.
If you go with Snow you could have a Land full of Frozen Rivers and Waterfalls hiding long, dark, winding ice caverns that reflect light like mirrors and create confusing, winding mazes you need to learn to navigate.
Not necessarily, Lands can be really weird. SBURB tries to give you a custom adventure but if you don’t get the point or dismiss it (cough Rose cough), then things just get weird.
Flashes of Light and Stealing their Own light or Others Light to appear invisible or blind someone would be Rogue-ish, not quite sure about the Illusions, seems a bit too complex for Taking, but you could make a case for it. A Witch most DEFINITELY has illusions.
I usually don’t answer to these because as I’ve said before, I’m bad with Land Making from Scratch- But with the ‘Land’ thing at the beginning, I accidentally read Witch and Rage instead of Witch of Rage, and LOWAR is a badass acronym for a Rage Player, so maybe you can start from there.
If you’re going with the Fame meaning of the second one, and you have ‘Like god’ at the beginning, I suggest something like Narcissism perhaps, or if you’re going for a variant of God, or Divine, the word ‘Diva’ certainly fits the theme.
I can’t argue against that logic.
Or lack thereof, technically.
Wait.
Jar Jar Binks is a Lord of Rage.
Calliope offers a bunch of really useful exposition on Classes, however she’s also very much framed as another Theorist just like the Homestuck Fandom. The role of the Prince and a few of the Class Pairings work well enough, but when it comes to Gendered Classes, she was basing it off the things she had read from Rose’s Book, assuming ‘Prince’ was male and ‘Witch’ female exclusive merely because of the words themselves.
Consorts seem to be more Herptiles than Birds, but if you’re going the Dinosaur Route you may be able to find common ground there.
Seems fitting enough, she also fits the Outlaw archetype, working for Blackwatch, conducting morally dubious experiments, and she does it all to further Humanity’s Evolution, which is technically Selfless.
The Jar Jar Binks is a Sith Lord theory is EXACTLY why I said he was a Lord of Rage.
It’d basically be that McCree reaction image when he’s like “H-How” about the Zenyatta that was 90% of the match on Fire.
For a moment I read that as ‘Cosplayers’ and now all I can think of is the Felt Cosplaying.
I personally think there’s still something we don’t quite know about Reaper’s Goals that may change our perception of what God Tier he would be in a near future.
Oh my god, could you imagine how fucking pissed Yaldabaoth would be at that.
The Miss of Paint, obviously.
She does Serve life, but I still think the Rogue works better. Mercy is very likely a Sylph though.
I think the Iris may be more Hope-y than Life-y.
She’s just Time, her ability to appear to warp forward in Space is merely a result of her fast-forwarding to that point- The time she spends moving from point A to point B never happens because she’s jumped to a point in the Timeline where she’s further ahead, therefor, it looks like she’s warped through Space.
Now that’s the kind of Time Fuckery I like to see coming from SBURB.
Oh wouldn’t you like to know.
There are various points at which the Titles are revealed. The first instance is Nanna’s Inscription in John’s copy of the Sassacre Text, in which she explicitly tells John his Session has a Heir of Breath, a Witch of Space, a Seer of Light and a Knight of Time. Then the Consorts talk about their roles, the Salamanders do talk about the Heir of Breath, and the White Queen refers to Rose as the Seer. So, Sprites + Consorts + Exiles tell the Kids what their Role is- But the thing about God Tier is that, you make up your own Role. Two Heirs of Breath won’t be the same, because each of them may consider their Role as a Heir, and their affinity to Breath, in different ways. For Eridan, that mean being Bossy about anything Hope-Related, because he’s an asshole. A Prince of Hope would’ve been great though- Destroying through Hope, if he’d been optimistic and nice about things he could’ve been a good weapon against Bec Noir and Lord English! But in the end he ended up Destroying Hope, and Destroying through the Hope that Bec Noir would become an ally to him. So yeah, you make your role up, you only get vague hints about what the Classes and Aspects mean, and what your Quest is.
Seer of Doom here! Which is why there was that wink-wonky response to my last ask about the Seer of Doom. And as I’ve said before, knowing when and what bad things are going to happen would let me stay off the loop of Drama so I don’t really have to deal with Pain and Suffering, even though in turn it’d make me a tad Paranoid.
Which really is kind of par for the course for me.
You know, I’ve watched a whole Let’s Play of Outlast 2 and I don’t think I even knew Blake’s full name. I’m going to go with the Page of Doom. Actually you know what, every single Horror Protagonist is a Page of Doom, because boy oh boy do they get Served some horrifying fucking painful and torturous situations.
Also because I think going through a Horror Setting dressed up in snug green underwear is hilarious.
He actually gets a dual God Tier! As the Waste of Heart and the Lack of Mind.
It’s actually left up to the interpretation if there was any tampering with or if it would’ve still chosen the same veredict. Aranea’s Mind Control was more hinting at how lucky it was for her than actual manipulation on her part, and Jack’s Smashing could’ve influenced it, but ultimately it’s left up to the reader. I honestly think both of those were well deservedly Just and the ‘tampering’ is just to add tension to the scene.
Only one person!
She really is.
That’s what I think as well, but the undeniable fact is that, Hussie intentionally left it ambiguous because he’s a Big Troll and wanted us to think about what makes a Death Just, because that’s just the kind of stuff we love him for.
Lots of Time Players with Gears in their Lands! Stars, though, mixed with Gears, I cannot quite picture how this one would be… Seems pretty Space-Time duality themed. Hmmmm…
I think the Rebirth part may have to do with it, maybe the ‘Denizen is Dead’ and you need to Revive it with some kind of Ritual. Of course the Denizen is not actually Dead and you’re just awakening it, but yeah. As for consorts, if you’re going for something Greek… I don’t know, what are some famous Greek Herptiles?
I had no idea what Kayfabe was honestly and had to look it up. The second part would likely have to tie with the Ancient Greek aesthetics, maybe? Not sure… After all Terezi has greek-ish Temples and her Land is Thought and Flow- Unless you consider Greece and the ‘great thinkers of old’, in which case Thought does tie in, but still that’s kind of a stretch. It could be pretty much anything.
Hmm, yeah there’s a bunch to work there. However, ‘Consorts critique my frogs’ has to be just about the best thing I’ve ever heard.
Make it alliterative and have Streams and Strength, wouldn’t that be fun? Unless you want to go with ‘power’ meaning electricity and having a whole water + electricity themed Land, in which case, I don’t know, Streams and Energy?
Not necessarily though, hmm, you could make a case for Light to focus and aim or even Time to slow down time for himself, target, and then shoot. He COULD be the Space Player though, but it’s not quite final.
But what about [S] John: Reunite with your loving wife and daughter?
The Land of Zelda and Ganon, with you as Link carrying the Courage the Land lacks, of course.
