how come the trolls share aspects with their dancestors but the kids don't?

Convenience. Also with the castes being Aspect-coded, it makes more sense than having all 4 Alpha Kids also share the title with the Betas.

Do you know where I can find more in depth descriptions for the aspects, rather than just the canon descriptions? It's harder to decide between three aspects for me and the canon descriptions aren't really helping me much in deciding.

If you can’t quite tell with the Canon Aspect Descriptions, please check this out!

It would be interesting to have a Prince of Time, a Rogue of Light, a Maid of Breath and a Page of Space (destroying time, stealing info/luck for allies and being served space)

The other way around could be as interesting: Knight of Heart, Witch of Hope, Heir of Life and Seer of Void

I’m sure this is an AU of sorts.

Okay, so you can explain everything in Homestuck, hm? Well, explain this: Roxy. Checkmate

Shit, I have been owned.

Which gen is your favourite? How would you classpect pokemon the anime central characters?

It’s been a bit too long and every season has new central characters sooo it would take me a bit too long to go through them. At some point I may Classpect them though. As for my favorite Gen- I think. I think it’s the latest Gen, honestly.

what class and lunar sway do you think a vriska roseways lalonde would be? i suddenly thought of that swap and i'm curious. i know she'd be a light player, obviously, but i'm not sure about the rest.

It could be either, honestly, depending on what features of Rose’s personality you want to swap with her.

A Knight of light who only doesn't in rhyme (could be said for a page of rage but light works better)

I’m assuming you meant only speaks or types in rhyme. Oh god, that’d be an awful Fantroll to write, imagine having to rhyme every single line of dialog. I’d die.

Imagine a land that lets you only attack if you speak in rhyme

On this topic, imagine a Land where you have to move and attack to the rhythm of the beat, like Crypt of the Necrodancer.

Okay so I read homestuck before I looked at my zodiac right, and I read homestuck and LOVED terezi. I looked up my zodiac and I'm a libra. Strange how these things work. Also my favorite color is teal.

Its weird that the homestuck zodiac describes me better then the normal zodiac, maybe hussie is better at making zodiacs then who ever made them

Hussie has the advantage of telling you “Hey you can actually choose the blood color you identify with the most”, rather than forcing you into one of 12 categories based on your birth date.

The funniest thing about what the last anon asked with the zodiac thing is that I didn't even have to change my sign to find one that fits me better

Double confirmed.

What's the classpect of a guy who's always given the truth and in return he should keep it as a secret? Could it be Rage?

A Page of Light maybe? Thief maybe too.

In a normal session, would a planet’s name and characteristics ever be subject to change? Similar to Caliborn’s, even though that was a very special case. Like if a time player somehow aged it forward so maybe frogs would develop.

The characteristics, yes, terraforming tends to be a big part of a lot of Quests, but it would seem the name is set in stone unless it was some extremely dramatic terraforming event.

I have this weird headcanon that if a alpha session were to scratch (like karkat session, and the alpha kids) that instead of just switching guardians it switches it up between them, like this time for example, its Roxy, jade, Dirk, and John (still not winnable but I think it's interesting) or like Jane, Dave, rode, Jake, etc

Yeah that’s likely what would’ve happened if there was a Third Scratch, but there was just no Scratch Construct there.

Did Eridan go grimdark when he killed Feferi, Kanaya, and almost Sollux?

Yes, and no. I was told Hussie did describe Eridan as going ‘grimdark’, but if that’s true there’s an interesting thing to look at regarding the difference between grimdark and Grimdark. Thematically, and even visually during the scene, Eridan went grimdark- As in, suddenly there was a gritty and dark turn of events and everything went to hell and he was being creepy and killing things. But he didn’t go Grimdark, as in the state of corruption Rose undergoes. His skin didn’t ACTUALLY get a darker shade of grey, nor did he get a power up to his abilities, that was just him exerting the power he had to fuck people up.

On the contrary, both Rose and Jade were corrupted by external influences, and had their personalities altered. Rose became more single-minded on revenge, Jade let all the bad stuff inside her flourish. On top of that, I would even dare to say JADE isn’t Grimdark- If we consider Grimdarkness as the state you undergo when the Horrorterrs Corrupt you, she is, in fact, Grimbark, as she helpfully tells us. Her personality is corrupted, but by Condy, and… It’s arguable if she actually gets a power boost or not. Rather, it seems like she simply… Doesn’t have any issues bringing out her full power.

Could Rage be seen as desire? Does a Rage player have to believe things with proof or without proof? Would that mean they are just devoted if they believe without proof?

They are the OPPOSITE of belief without proof, they tear apart at false systems for breakfast and prefer a state of disorder and anarchy knowing the truth than a state of order and peace where reality is obscured. Desire sounds more Hope-y honestly.

Space players have the most of the thing for the creation of the new universe, i.e. the forge on their player planet and the quest to find the genesis frog, then why do Time players are necessary also? Is it because they have the Scratch construct on their player planet?

Given the Scratch is not necessary, no. I’ve thought about this with some friends for a long time and we’ve come to the conclusion that. They’re just correctors of the Timeline. Without Time Players, you have one chance to complete the game in time and close all the time loops it throws at you. Without being able to hop back and forth in the timeline and fix things, winning is nigh impossible.

i always thought of eridan going "grimdark" more of as him giving in to despair, cuz thats what a prince of hope would do, wouldnt he. rose went trough something similiar after she saw her mom die. when you get really, truly desperate you feel like the worlds shutting down and that theres only one way out

The thing is that, even though Rose felt sad about her mother, she wasn’t hopeless. She was filled her anger- He reaction to grief is to lash out irrationally, as seen in Game Over as well. She didn’t go Grimdark until she explicitly contacted the Horrorterrors, and then they preyed on her negative emotions to make her their pawn. Eridan just snapped and gave in to his murderous tendencies without any sort of external corruption, just his own despair.

If Calliope and Caliborn shared the same computer (and possibly Pesterchum account), then how come they have 2 different Chumhandle?

They had two computers, they couldn’t access the other’s side of the room.

Yo, I actually had this crazy idea "Lords and Muses have a struggle at a point in their lives, they usually try to solve it through their aspect" This kind of shows how Calliope tried to coexist with Caliborn by finding creative ways to stop him and how Caliborn waited for the right moment till he woke up in Derse and killed his sister. Also, I theorized Lords and Muses show some of traits of the opposite aspect, but the only one who shows this from my memory is Caliborn.

I mean, the complementary Aspects are kinda related so they may show regardless with other Classes. As for the struggle in their lives, it’d make sense merely because of the Lord and Muse’s heavy ties to their Aspects, IF there’s a struggle they have to overcome it’s likely related to their Aspect, but I wouldn’t be able to just say they all struggle with it. Even in the more visible scenarios like the Maids struggling, I’d still say it’s a bit of a generalization and it all just ‘tends’ to it, never quite requires it.

how was the Condesce able to enter a sburb session if she was still technically in the alternian universe?

She wasn’t though, she got to Earth first.

would a bard/prince of time be able to stop time? Destroying time

That’s a way to see it, I’d say yeah!

I've come to the conclusion that you're actually Rose Lalonde in disguise.

Nope, not snarky enough, way too bright. May as well be Jasprose though. :3c

could a seer of mind... read minds?

Yep.

Who would win between Dave's bro and an adult Dirk Strider?

Dirk because Dave’s Bro is a lil bih.

Actually, Caliborn and Calliope's struggle didn't have to do with anything about their aspects, kek. It seemed that they tried to solve it with their aspect.

Although I do think the struggle with their aspect sounds possible.

I mean, Calliope’s main struggle was her being isolated for forever in the Furthest Ring, and Caliborn’s was the time limit of his Session.

Isn't it cool that Sburb is about creating a new universe where you are the gods and can have fun and thats basically exactly what Hussie did for us with Homestuck itself?

Yep.

since a bard's power is passive and i imagine more subtle than a Prince but equally as dangerous (long term danger rather than immediate) i imagine that a Bard of Heart would cause the slow corruption of souls around them. If you had "soul vision" you could see a black "corruption" spreading through the souls of living things in the Bard's vicinity. It basically does slow emotional damage until they completely break down and also damages their souls until they splinter

I mean both of them can slowly destroy over time, same as how Gamzee, a Bard of Rage, can just. Go Berserk and start murdering people violently.

ok, correct me if im wrong about these random mind class things, but using "mind" as "choices," a page of mind would try and set up ALL the butterfly effects. none of them work. the create classes (maid and sylph) would kickstart some butterfly effects, for instance throwing a gun into a river, which will then float down to a dersite agent in need of a weapon to defend himself from an imp, ect. while a heir could be protected by them, and witches would change them to get certain things done.

I feel Butterfly Effects fall more into the Light Territory? As chance, luck and fate. I don’t know, it may work as well? But it’s not the first thing I think of.

Hey it's me again! Looking back at your posts, I saw that you did land quests. Could you do a quest for the Land of Oaks and Frogs? Thanks!

I mean, it’s a Land of Frogs. The Quest is predetermined, you need to find a way to change something about the Land (Likely light the Forge) to awaken the Frogs and then go Frog Hunting.

When I was making lands for OCs for my space player I made the land of rain and frogs, and I just imagine it had light rain all the time and it was full of willow trees and was simply just one big peaceful aesthetic

Rain and constant croaking, what a mood to fall asleep to.
