What player can cause cancer in their enemies (plus points for one of a blood aspect because karkat lol)
I could see a Space Player using radiation, Light as well like, the UV rays from the Sun. Curiously enough, though? My first idea was a Maid or Sylph of Life- Cancer is faulty replication of cells that start to just sort of take over, so. ‘Improving’ Life would likely have this effect, wouldn’t it?

Okay- Trickster is basically a Cheat Code. It makes you stop caring about all of your issues, forces you to act like an entitled jackass, and hyperpowers your God Tier- Hard to say if it’s inherently Life-Coded (BABIES! And lots of Agency), or if it’s just a Jane thing. Let’s assume it’s just a hypercharge to your God Tier. A Muse of Void Commands Nonexistence, and without worries, concerns about what they’re doing or a Filter? I can honestly only imagine they’d do some Horrorterror Party of some kind like just, drag those tentacle squid monstrosities to have fun. Tricksterify a few of them, make them Squiddles.
Seriously though it’d be sort of scary, I cannot think of a Trickster Muse of Void as anything other than some creepy Yandere-y type (I mean what Trickster is NOT somewhat like that), in this. Pitch black room, voice echoing forever, beckoning, even as Eldritch Monstrosities crawl up along the walls.
I don’t quite think so, more like, she wanted to kill Lord English and then rule as a Troll Tyrant again for all eternity because that’s how she rolls.
Condy has to pretty much kill her Heiress every time a new one pops up and threatens her throne. Could you imagine how much easier it would be to have a Goddess of Life serving her every command, never turning against her? Besides she’s a key part of the Repopulation Thing with Humans, either to reign over a planet of both Humans and Trolls and keep TWO species subjugated, or as a back-up plan in case she can’t get the Matriorb from Roxy, at least she can keep ruling over SOMETHING. Even if Human Reproduction is not something she finds tasteful.
Also she may not WANT to die, but you can never exactly predict the turns and twists life will throw at you. Having a back-up is good- And with Jane under her control she could resurrect her if things got really bad, at least once.
I think the anon before was more referring to how Condy, who tapped into all psychic capabilities of all castes, who had mastered some of her powers as a Life player, died because of a single sword to the back.
If we go by the last ask, I think it wasn’t, exactly! And I mean, Condy has shown to be able to unlock Psychic Potential of her Species, and to Extend Lifespans, but no Lifespan Extension is going to heal having your God Damn Spine severed and your guts punctured from behind. She only lost, honestly, because Roxy is a Rogue of Void- When she was angrily force-choking Rose, Kanaya and John, she forgot about Roxy because… That’s just what the Rogue of Void does, sneaks by seeming to not be a threat, and then Stabs when you don’t expect it.
Besides, Condy was going on a cocky rampage. Maybe she also thought English’ Immortality Curse was still active on her, and didn’t notice that wasn’t the case anymore.

The fact that Jane is not a Fuchsiablood might indeed be one of the reasons Condy keeps her as a Heiress- No subconscious FISH SUPREMACY, I MUST KILL YOU feelings, which is something we know Meenah actually feels.

I don’t really headcanon or condone the thought the Destroy Classes need to be tied to their Opposite Aspect at any point, the manifestation of these opposite Aspects can happen in any Class and it’s mostly unhealthy.

now that I'm thinking about it, the void steal classes can be seen as the best ninjas and maters of theft. using the void to sneak around and yank all the things, invisibility and intangibility just seem op for some sneaky thieves ( and rouges ) to have. also what exactly made Roxy a rouge of void ? what broad personality traits make someone a void steal class ?
Exactly, the ‘Through’ part of a lot of Classpect Powers gets often ignored and it can lead to fun things like that. As for Roxy, well, she abstracts herself from her issues (Rogue) through alcohol (Void), which proves to be very unhealthy for her. Her life is in a post-apocalyptic waterworld, sort of fighting back against Condy’s Drones and trying to help out the community that’s been built around her- Tying to the Rogue’s theme as an outlaw, and caring about their closed community. This care es even more evident by her love for her friends and how she puts them before her to the point of it being bad for her, she laments being so selfless that she cares more about disappointing others than her well being. Also Roxy definitely struggles a bit with the irrelevance that comes from being a Void Player, being ignored by her friends leading to the Trickster Disaster as they are all busy, losing contact with Calliope entirely, and then being captured and isolated from the rest, only used as a tool for Condy, being put aside by Aranea, Roxy does a lot of things off-screen and when you just cannot see her- Stealing Rose’s body, Condystabbing…
So one of my Fuchsia fantrolls is a Witch Of Rage. She’s a supreme ruler similar to Meenah but questions the hemospectrum and what it has to do with them in the first place. Anyways, lowbloods despise her, and two particular highbloods see her as unfit to rule. She takes this hatred/passion and turns it against them by directing that passion amongst each other (but not her). Is this a Witch Of Rage or a Rogue Of Rage ability/personality?
It feel a Witch may fit the role better than a Rogue for this.
I mean, look at all the heart and void players weve seen through out the comic. nepeta and equius are the face of moirails everywhere, dirk and Roxy have the closest bond out of all the the human kids. the heart and void aspects seem to just fit together for some reason
Oooh, THAT kind of ties! I mean it may be a coincidence- Meulin and Horuss, for example, don’t seem to quite think much of each other, and they’ve only recently become Moirails because she wanted to emulate the Meowrails. Hmm… Maybe that’s it? Heart Players have a strong personality, and tend to easily influence Void Players, who are more malleable?
But even with the Horuss and Meulin thing, aren't they both kinda bad at their aspect? Horuss never living up to his potential and being a huge part of the drama of his session, Meulin not knowing heart and losing her own whenever Kurloz controls her, making her into nothing but his puppet? All the trolls from that session are like this,they are a failed session a seer of blood that divides people and nobody listens to? So do Horuss and Meulin count when it comes to talking about the aspects?
They are definitely not the best role models, but while they did fail to get any proper growth, they still are Players of a certain Class and a certain Aspect, and a very needed example about more nuances of the Classpect System and how different Classpects can deviate from the norm or follow their Classpect in different ways. Meulin definitely DOES know Heart- She’s obsessed with shipping and is regarded as a Miracle Worker, relationship-wise. Sure she’s mind controlled, and she does a lot for her ships, but it’s precisely because she focuses on the Ships she Likes rather than what is Healthy that she does stuff like, Meulin <> Horuss, and even THEN she’s very much okay with Horuss as her Moirail, it’s Horuss that gets sort of made to smile constantly and be cutesy for her. Similarly, Horuss may not be too good of a Page when it comes to his powers, but he still Serves himself Void by being oblivious to Rufioh’s attempts to break up with him, and making Rufioh continue to serve him in their relationship, not to say, Void, with its ties to Lack and Irrelevance, definitely fit the theme of the Page not reaching his Potential.
Calliope, Kanaya and Jade lived in remote and isolated locations with only 1, 2 or no other guardians living with them, do you think this was to reflect how isolation is tied to space?
It’s hard to say at which point Hussie decided Space = Isolation. It could very well be a theme that was introduced with Kanaya, and Jade just happened to retroactively make sense, or maybe it was planned from the beginning. Either way, it does fit in well with their nature.
Does John's retcon powers still counts as a Breath ability?
It’s intrinsically tied to Breath and Detachment, he becomes Detached from the Plot, Free of the normal conventions of the Alpha Timeline, allowing him to Change things for the better. However- It could also be seen as a combination of all 4 Betas, as we know their Souls are trapped in the Juju. You have the Detachment and the Plot, the Freedom, from John. You have the Alpha Timeline and what is actually relevant, from Rose. And Time and Space to warp back to various points and places of the story.
What if John's retcon powers are just a paradox? I think he got that power from future John which results into an infinite loop of his future self getting trapped and his past self gaining his powers.
I mean they ARE explicitly a Paradox, the Treasure was used to trap the Souls of the 4 Betas, and cast into the Furthest Ring, where John found it and gained the Retcon Power, which is the only reason they were able to access Caliborn’s Session, and as such, the only way they could get trapped into the Treasure in the first place. Yay for Retroactive Shenanigans.

So recently I realized that (as a breath player) being detached from most things is actually good sometimes. Like my mom and I moved to my grandma's not too long ago bcs we dont really have money and they were selling our flat(a flat ive spent practically all my childhood in) and because im kinda detached all the time it wasnt hard for me to just relocate and continue with life, and it turns out that helped my mom a lot with coping with leaving the flat in the first place so there's that :)
Oh jeez, I hope things go well dude! But yeah, in moderation and certain situations, most God Tier traits are useful and good. But again, hope it all goes nicely!

Okay, seriously now, Destruction through Rage is pretty straightforward! On one side you have Gamzee going Berserker and just fucking destroying everything that gets in his way. You have him being able to manipulate others into destructive tendencies and relationships with his attitude. And his servicial attitude towards Caliborn definitely enables destruction of the likes Paradox Space has never seen. He also destroyed his own Rage temporarily with Sopor Slime, and can even be said to cause mayhem and destruction through his disregard of the rules of the narrative, just like. Showing up unexpectedly with a God Tier outfit, with time tables. Being there with Caliborn. Surviving a god damn Black Hole. You know. #JustLittleGamzeeThings
so you wake up as your dream self if you fall unconscious right? what happens if you fall unconscious and then bleed out? or if you fall unconscious, die on your dream bed (a bit after sleeping) would you go god mode in your dream self?
You Wake Up as your Dream Self if the Dream Self has awoken, otherwise you have normal Dreams. Jade was awake for years, for example, but John wasn’t when the game Started, it took him a few more hours. All of his life John’s had normal Dreams, but after the Dream Self wakes up, you switch consciousness between the two. If you die, you need to be kissed to properly wake up as your Dream Self, unless you’re already awake as your Dream Self in which case I suppose you would just stay awake?
Also, the one to go God Tier is always the Dream Self if you use the Quest Beds and not the Sacrificial Crypts. Quest Beds share the damage your body has suffered with your Dream Self’s, warps it to the Battlefield, and Ascends it to God Tier. The only way your physical body can go God Tier by itself is by dying in the Prospit/Derse Slab, arguably, when there’s just one of your left.

I would much, much heavily prefer to get questions and answer them in English. I do understand Spanish but I don’t… Feel too comfortable being associated with Spain if I’m completely honest.
They are Game Constructs- Projections of your body made by the Game and asleep in either Prospit or Derse. They’ve existed for as long as you have been alive, and their Rooms are a projection of your inner psyche. They serve as Extra Lives, as an introduction to the Medium if you wake up early, and as a source of Insight and Premonition about the events that are going to happen in the Timeline.
As for the awakening, it depends. First Guardians have proven to be able to intentionally wake someone up on their Moon. Space Players are meant to wake up early after encountering the Flashy Last Frog they THEN have to remember when they deal with Frog Breeding. Some have always been awake but don’t quite know it, others wake up during certain events. They can also wake up if someone physically wakes the Dream Self up- Which will, in turn, make your Dream Body fall asleep. Finally, they can awaken if you die and someone Kisses you.

Possibilities in what sense? Choice and branching possibilities seem to be more tied to Mind. If you mean Potential, though, I’m not quite sure… Also I tend to go by, Faith, Belief, Hopes and Dreams, Optimism, that kind of thing.

The Genesis Frog may be hard to actually bit into but, people do eat frogs so. Probably like Frog with some Space in it? Is the Genesis Frog even Tangible, or does touching it just mean you enter the Universe? Is it like an Everything Bagel kind of deal?
Angels seem to be made out of Pure Hope, I don’t think they have any flesh to actually consume. It’d be like biting into a spell.

I’ve touched upon the Maid of Heart a lot, actually! The first post with the general description of the powers was over here. But beyond that, I’d say the Maid of Heart is one of the Classpects I’ve talked the most about. The general gist of it is improving Feelings and creating Feelings with people or between people, creating Souls likely as creating some sort of new being or healing one’s spirit in some way, and potentially, being made of multiple Souls within one body themselves.

I mean it could happen. It’d seem as far as we’ve seen, the sizes are still realistic to the size of the room itself in Prospit/Derse, but. John had the clown scribbling and the Jack Noir doll Gamzee made him have a nightmare about. Dave’s room was pretty much a replica of his room with SBaHJ scribbling on the walls. I do wonder the limits of how personalized the Dream Rooms are.

You’re a God when you Ascend. There’s little limits other than restrictions Paradox Space may give- For example, Roxy can create things, straight up make matter out of nothing. But she struggle with things that are not Voidy, even though Focus and Proximity to an Aspect Beacon lets her make other things, and she uses the cubes creatively to fight. John’s Windy Manipulation is able to swirl through an entire planet moments after Ascension. You truly DO get potentially Planet-Shattering, Reality-Bending powers. Even the less flashy Classpects, like Rose, Rose still gets powerful Magics and insight that gives her an upper hand in battle. This is not even going into Fraymotif Combinations.
So there’s. Really few limits other than a few logical things regarding your current situation (John couldn’t poof into wind when submerged under thick oil), or lack of concentration.

Stealing Hope doesn’t have to be a bad thing if you’re Stealing the Hope from someone who is evil. Alternatively, you can think of it as tearing down a fictitious system that’s keeping people suffering- Falsehood to uphold a stable status quo is also tied to Hope, and so is distractions and daydreaming to abstract yourself from the grim reality. While good in little doses and certain situations, ignoring the more serious aspects of things or being trapped by Society’s Lies are something a Thief of Hope could get rid of.
Also the more Hope you steal, the more Hopeful you get! So that’d feel good I’d hope.

I believe I’ve talked about the Lord of Heart before, Commanding Souls sounds very much like a Lord of the Afterlife sort of deal, maybe even to the point of raising the dead or controlling others to do their bidding. Sort of like the Ninja War Arc from Naruto maybe?
The Lord of Doom though, Commanding Destruction and Commanding Through Destruction, sounds like a ruler by force. Annihilating anything in their way, spreading plague and disease upon their enemies, and keeping Doom from befalling upon those they command.
If you prototype yourself - either an alternate timeline version of yourself for a Time player, or a Dreamself for anyone else - does the Sprite gain your class powers?
Yes, much like how Becsprite still had First Guardian powers- But only if they have ascended already, as we can see with Davepeta, their shirt has the Time Cog, but not the Heart Symbol, because Nepeta wasn’t a God Tier. They may still gain basic powers or traits of those Classpects though- Such as Davepeta combining Time and Heart to bring us a lovely Undertale reference, because as we all know, Heart + Time is very much the definition of Determination.
Also do NOT prototype your God Tier self as a First-Prototyping through Time Shenanigans, or you will give every Underling God Tier powers.
Doc Scratch is a manifestation of the ARquius portion of Lord English’ soul, hijacking the First Guardian creation process, and basically serving as a Host Gateway to Lord English, a gateway for him to enter the Universe.
haha, wow now i'm imagining a thief of hope as someone who starts out super blunt pessimistic and logical, so they tear down other peoples fantasies so they can think properly. and only after gaining both hope and some good friends. then they can act as someone who helps people see beyond their own beliefs and delusions while using the stolen hope to help themselves and the group to their goals

Concept: Thief of Void in a session plagued by mystery and secret keeping between allies. Thief suffers from a lack of Void internally and cannot naturally escape having their secrets revealed, has sensory overload from never being left alone. Uses their powers to steal all Void from their friends and session, suddenly they're just plain missing. In their wake they leave once estranged allies with a sudden need to band together/cooperate more than ever before to find the Thief of Void. Thoughts?
