Not a series I got into at all. And contrary to things like Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Star Wars- None of which I’ve dabbled into much, Percy Jackson has remained relatively out of my dash and life in general so I know literally 0 about it.
This is partially canon actually, Gamzee stuffs his codpiece with the money Jane pays him for the potions so there’s space in there to shove stuff in.
There can be female Bards, and I was going to argue about how the Codpiece is more of a Bard Thing in general rather than tied to gender, and how trans girls exist as well, gender and bits not being mutually exclusive, yadda yadda, but.
The thought of a Bard with cone bras to go along with the Codpiece- Not separately mind you, together with it, it’s way too funny to me.
Bard outfits have six strands of fabric going down from their hoods. And, Meenah shows us that yes you can edit your God Tier outfits any way you want. Hell you could keep the Bard outfit the same and just remove the Codpiece.
I did know about the deities bit, but I’m not 100% sure if it’d be my thing. Never say no though, maybe some time!

Denizens. Sweet mother of God the Denizens I adore the concept of the Denizens and would love to know everything about them more in-depth, which ones correlate to what Aspects, how they all look, specially without glitches or blinding glows.
Also I love Hiveswap and while I couldn’t pin-point what I like the most about what it’s shown us, I’m deeply fascinated and intrigued by the mysteries shown thus far, and really want to see where the story goes.
They’d be pretty similar, I don’t see why they would have to be stronger than Jane’s, but I also don’t see why not. Unlimited Resurrection sounds a little bit TOO OP for God Tier powers, given Conditional Immortality is a big thing for God Tiers and outside of English, true Immortality is unheard of, so I don’t think that’d be the case. Still, I could see the Sylph of Life having some powerful area heals and chain heals. The Maid of Life could have that too but, Jane seems more focused to single-target Healing, so it’d be fun to see just. Healing everyone. I have commented that the Sylph of Life sound like the Ultimate Healer after all.-
Honestly I’ve considered reading it or Act 8 and other such projects a bunch of times, but I’m very stubborn.
On one side, love the idea- Continuing the story, giving your unique twist on it. I love it because I feel the more open end of Act 7 and how long it’ll take to get the Epilogue out, is basically Hussie handing us the story and letting us do what we want with it! Our headcanons and ideas, our theories. I love that kind of thing.
But given the general reaction of the Fandom to an Ending that, as I’ve mentioned before, I personally think is really good? I feel like all the Ending Projects aren’t continuing the story, but rather… Trying to ‘fix’ it. Projects started out of spite as a ‘We can do this better than you, look’ defiance of Hussie’s ending, shaping the Canon to their own Headcanons and going around what they thought was ‘dumb’ which in many cases misses the point Hussie tried to make in the first place. It may not even be like that- But that’s how it feels to me, and why I haven’t checked any of those kinds of project out. And likely, why it’ll take me a looooong time to check them out, if I ever check them out at all.

Thank you! :D I really wanted to do this kind of thing for a long while- It started more as a bit of an attempt to maybe explain misconceptions and get new people into it? But it’s become too Spoilery I’d say for that to happen, so I focus way more in giving my take about things and try to push common Fandom Misconceptions away and giving fresh takes that people may not have thought about. It’s really fun actually! And. I mean. I get Cod Piece Talk from time to time, which is hilarious in its own right and sort of a bonus to be honest.
Which is not encouraging anyone to keep sending those. Please. I’m getting Cod Piece asks faster than I can answer them.
I feel the Souls thing would be more a Heart thing. Raising a dead body, however? Like a Zombie? Now we’re talking. Necromancers are just Healers applied to the Dead after all. Overgrowth of plant life works well, and taking the ‘Agency’ bit of Life, the Sylph of Life may just do what they want or let others do what they want just, empowering speeches or even spells.
Also unique take on Life powers: Forced replication of cells or messing around with the Genetic Code to make fast growing cancer cells in their enemies or produce gruesome bodily mutations.
Briefly talked about them here. I didn’t quite say much though did I? Changing through Space definitely means they’d be able to shrink and grow just like Jade with her powers, likely warp around by changing their own position… It’s possible there’d be something about changing the material they’re made off? So imagine skin hardening like steel or something like that. I could see the Heir of Space being sort of tied to the Genesis Frog just like Snowman, too.
There’s two things to note here. The first of all is- Does. Tavros really have Pyrokinesis? I always took the Sick Fires thing as stylization rather than actually creating fires, a visual pun on him trying to ‘burn’ others through the Internet and make some sick raps.
But the second… Would Tavros be one to do that kind of thing? Maybe a Page of Breath able to do Pyrokinesis could do that sort of stuff, yeah, but it doesn’t sound too… Tavros-y to me. When you consider someone’s “True Potential”, you have to consider what their personality would allow. Think of John. His powers can tear apart a planet, but his use of wind is to blow his enemies away and poof away- He could drill through Bec Noir or Condy with a giant wind tornado, but that’s just kind of not the John way of doing things.
Anxiety.
Okay, in all seriousness, Doom is a pretty vague Aspect when it comes to general powers, but anticipating bad things to come does seem to sort of happen even for Non-Seers- Like how Mituna knew something bad was going to happen. Maybe a sort of Spidey Sense? I’ve also argued about the connection between Doom and Fire, so maybe Pyrokinesis could be common?
That’s silly. Anyone can use Time Tables, even non-Time Players. Hell- A SEER should be the most qualified person to use the Time Tables since they’d be able to know the Time Loops they need to do and not mess up at all.
Ouch. Do remember the Fraymotifs need to be related to Music though! Inevitable Demise is a cool name but not Music-y enough~.

Back during Act 5, Sollux shows us this.
“ You did not write this virus. You copied it from an obscure server, far beyond your planet’s global network. This application is running on that server perpetually.
It is an extremely simple ~ATH program. Its main loop is tied to the lifespan of the universe. When the universe dies, a mysterious subprogram will be executed. You have no way of knowing what that subprogram does. It runs on a protected part of the server. It is completely unhackable.
You delete the file, but it won’t do much good. The program is already running elsewhere. Luckily, whatever harm it will do will not be done for many billions of years. And even then, what harm could a virus do after the expiration of the universe? This file always struck you as quite odd. “
By this point, people knew Spades Slick was Karkat’s Exile from the first Intermission, and that the Felt are all Billiards-coded, so this was an obvious nod to something regarding them. And specifically, to Lord English, given the Flashing Billiards are the O of his name.
Then we meet Doc Scratch.
The Cue Ball to the rest of the Felt’s Billiards. He tells us some more information about English and about the Code Sequence above, specifically…
This tells us that the code is basically representative of how Lord English gets into the Universe. We’re also told several times through Act 5 about how he is Already Here and that he cannot be stopped- He will arrive one way or another.
We also learn that Doc Scratch has done this before- He’s been born through the Multiverse, and in every single Universe he has been in, he’s managed to die and bring his Master forth into it.
We also learn an interesting detail from Aradiabot in the Bubbles. While on Pre and Post Scratch Earth we had a single person holding the Genetic Code that creates the First Guardian- MEOW for Rose, BARK for Jake, on Alternia this is a little bit different. The code is split through the four Players of FLARP. t1ck t0ck, 8r8k H34DS… But then we’re told that there’s one extra sequence to this First Guardian code. honk HONK. Something that comes from a Gamzee of a Doomed Timeline, after going through a rampage and killing everything, writing the sequence in a ~ATH book. This code is what makes Doc Scratch- Combining the First Guardian code, along with a Cue Ball- Which Scratch calls his ‘Seed’, and with Lil Cal- The vessel of Lord English’ Soul.
The result is Scratch being, fundamentally, no different than the Host Plushes Tavros plays Fiduspawn with. And in fact? He even tells us outright- He is an excellent Host.
As such, in retrospect, we know that Doc Scratch’s presence in the Universe basically means he’s corrupted the First Guardian creation to insert himself in the Universe, and now Lord English is going to be born through him eventually. Lord English is fully immortal- As Caliborn, he destroyed his own God Tier Clock and absorbed the Rainbow Majyyks, becoming 100% immortal. So when all is said and done, when the entire Universe has collapsed, when Doc Scratch, who contains Lord English’ Soul, perishes? The God Tier clock starts to swing. But there’s no Just or Heroic Death for English. There’s just resurrection.
As his code tells us, his coming begins with the Death of the Universe, represented through those billiard balls activating in the ‘server’ in the Furthest Ring.
And so the Clock Ticks.
It t1cks. And it t0cks. t1ck. t0ck.
And so Scratch’s Fate as a ‘Host’ truly becomes evident. Lord English starts to be reborn, through his body, through him as a ‘Vessel’ of his Soul.
Almost like with Calliope and Caliborn, when Scratch goes to ‘sleep’, English wakes up. Once the Host dies, what was inside blossoms forth, and through him. And since Scratch has been leading the Felt, they have the Cairo Overcoat and his Peg Leg ready for him to warp with the First Guardian powers he now gets from being born out of Scratch.
And then we have the next part of his transformation. The moment he is fully reborn and spawns as Lord English. When the last bit of Doc Scratch shatters to reveal his appearance. When his Cue Ball shatters. When his Head breaks. Break. Heads. 8r8k. H34DS.
This is not just for the code, either. Doc Scratch calls the Cue Ball his ‘Seed’, from where he’s born. But there’s something else the Cue Ball is called in Homestuck.
“The bird struggles out of the egg, the egg is the world. Who would be born must first destroy a world. The bird then flies to God. That God is Abraxas.“ To be Born you must Destroy a World. To be Born you need to Break through the Egg. This concept of the Egg is seen in various religions and cultures, but this tie to Gnosticism ties well with the fact Lord English is the Yaldabaoth of the story- The one entity that claimed its grip over reality as a supreme ruler, who causes death, pain and suffering to everyone within, who the Protagonists must escape from. This theme of the Egg Breaking, of the Cue Ball, of English’ only weakness, a cycle of Creation and Destruction, appears several times through the story. But while the Cue Ball appears mostly in opposition to Lord English, as the Hope Bubble, as the actual Cue Ball, as the first form the Treasure takes when it pops out of the Juju Chest, this time it’s featured with Lord English tearing through it to be Born, to come into being, in both the Alternian Universe, and, for the first time, into the Story itself.
Here is where we see English, fully, for the first time…
A moment to make us realize the similarities between him and Lil Cal, a first glimpse at the skull-like head of the Cherubs, before Cherubs are revealed as a species themselves.
And just like that, the Cairo Overcoat doubles as English’ Time Travelling device, his Sarcophagus (Which ties him to some Egyptian Themes as well)…
And he warps back to Alternia’s Universe, where as we know, he has already been. He was already there. Always. We can see this in the closing shots of the Flash, when the Billiards envelop Alternia, showing us that he’s always had a deep grip in how Troll Society works, through his Servants being there, through Him controlling everything.
But, much like the Code, we are not done yet. We had the t1ck, and the t0ck. We had the 8r8k, and the H34DS. Of course, the only thing we have left…
… Is the Vast Honk Gamzee’s Religion speaks about. honk. HONK.
Lord English is Born, into the Universe, into the Story. And his Coming marks a turning point in the narrative of Homestuck, and the entire flow of the story, much like his influence changed the way Alternian Society should have gone.
I think letters can be Flat and Sharp, not quite minus or plus…
Lots of good ideas pouring through. No idea what the original person would prefer though.
Remember that it’s not just the Classpect, who the person using the powers is also influences the Fraymotif- Like Roxy making a Wizard for hers, so it’s hard to tell without knowing the specific case. Rogue of Time and Prince/Bard of Light, though, sounds like something that would happen in a split second. Rogue slowing or freezing time, perhaps even stealing it and skipping through the Timeline, while the Prince/Bard annihilates the Time-distorted enemies with lasers. Or maybe, removing someone’s perception of Time, and Blinding them, would create a sort of sensory-deprived state to lock someone in and take care of them.

I have no idea but for some reason, ‘therapeutic breath’ and ‘animal loving life’ has given me the mental image of them summoning a puppy and getting all relaxed and calmed down via puppy licks.
It’s okay! That sounds kind of brutal though, jeez, slamming someone at those speeds would likely reduce them to a fine blood-colored mist in the general vicinity.

Knowing Blood likely means they know exactly where to cut to make their target bleed out with a single strike. Blood Majyyks may permit them to also manipulate Blood a-la Red Miles or just general Blood Magic, not to say anything of just being able to manipulate friendships and get their way with that.
Huh, basically a Trojan Horse but with whatever the hell you want and not just a Horse. Except it’s also still probably a Horse, because this is Homestuck.

Not completely- She only has 7 spots to gather light through on one eye, rather than it being a huge composite net of hexagons. Chances are her brain wouldn’t quite parse it like THAT either. However, checking Hussie’s more detailed drawings…
Those are individual pupils with their own irises, so yes her way of seeing would be kind of weird, with her left eye having 7 different points through which Light enters. I don’t know enough about Biology to know how that’d work though.
Sounds like killing someone’s Ultimate Self or like, dealing damage to that person through every single Timeline they exist in.
Anyone! Hell, the Frog Breeding isn’t even that difficult, it’s just tedious, given enough time even a single person would be able to pull it off.
I mean… It does tie in to restrictions and limits, so you could make a case for that. Turning off the law of Physics would ALSO cause an immense amount of Doom, so. I’d say it sorta checks out.
