‘Beta and Alpha’ have no meaning for the Trolls given that their version of SBURB, that is, SGRUB, wasn’t a game made by a company that dubbed it as Alpha or Beta, they made it themselves and sort of just played it. That being said, if you’re talking about ‘Beta’ as in the Beta Kids being the biological offspring of the Alphas, it’s implied Karkat’s group were the original, and Meenah’s the mix. Curiously I haven’t done the Witch of Life before it seems! When it comes to Life-y Familiars however, they may be the easiest ones to come up with, given Plants and Animals can generally fall into the ‘Living’ part of the Life Aspect, most creatures that allow a Witch to do things could count as a Familiar in some way.
Powers however, the Witch of Life is that which Changes and Manipulates Life. We see this happen in quite a few different ways in the comic- Feferi, for example, wants to change the Hemospectrum, changing the way of living of the entire Caste! Furthermore though, she managed to do it in Beforus, and made it so that Highbloods Culled the Lowbloods, in her sense- Taking care of them, overbearingly so. This actually accounts for the Agency meaning of Life- She made it so that Lowbloods had basically no Agency of their own, and at the same time, locked Highbloods’ Agency to having to care for those of a lower caste. It’s this lack of Agency that makes Meenah consider the role of the Beforan Empress as a ‘Glorified Slave’, and exiles herself to the Moon!
She also communes with the Horrorterrors to create the Dream Bubbles- She Changes the nature of Life itself, by creating a faux Afterlife where everyone can live after they Die, and keep communicating with each other and sharing information and doing stuff. We also see a God Tier Feferi healing WV, although this could be just a normal thing with Life Powers in general, but it could also work about Changing Life and all.
In the end, the Witch of Life is all about that- Manipulating and bending Life itself, whether it be Lifespans or Living Beings, whether it be their impact on the world around them, or food.
Oh yeah, Life, of course, ties in to Consumption and Food, so they’d likely be pretty excellent cooks.
Oof… Okay, self-prototyped, I’m assuming you’re talking like in Davesprite’s case. Basically you’re asking, what if Dave died and Davesprite went God Tier. And the answer is… Technically they should not be able to Ascend? Because once you go Sprite and mix with someone, you become an entity different from what you were. So the Quest Bed is yours, not theirs. Jade ascended because it was her body on her Quest Bed, and pretty much assimilated the divergent Dream Self. If it’s merely the Sprite Dream Self with no ‘self’, using your Quest Bed, I believe the difference may be notable enough to prevent Ascension.
That’s why you should Ascend to God Tier BEFORE Self-Prototyping.

You can Captchalogue living beings (Consorts), and Dead People, so likely yeah you can? But I wouldn’t be surprised if Captchalogues have restrictions in place to prevent this.
Also, if you can captchalogue a person, you can then double-punch that card with a ghost image of their fursona. No self-prototyping and god-tiering necessary, just alchemize yourself into a furry instead.
There’s a possibility that while the Alchemiter could biologically reproduce your structure, it couldn’t exactly reproduce your Soul, so you may just end up with a Captcha Card that can make corpses of yourself. Not too pleasant. Unless you have a Heart Player to drag your Soul into the intact, newly created body maybe? There’s a lot of weird things you could do going down this rabbit hole.

I don’t think it’d work that well with a Rogue of Hope? I think you’d still God Tier though, because as we see with the John on the Quest Bed becoming a Ghost, it’d seem Normal Selves and Dream Selves share Consciousness, but not their Soul. If you’re God tier in a body and switch, though, you’re likely still God Tier, seems to be linked more to who you are.

A PGO’s code is 00000000, you can’t combine it with anything. && combinations will give 00000000, and || combinations will just give the same code as the other item you alchemized it with.
Think of SBURB like a program. The program has a finite amount of space to work with, but it tries to generate instances for everything the Player may interact with or do. There IS a finite number of combinations- But exhausting them all would take an eternity for the Player. Even if they did exhaust it, there’s also the possibility of Codes overlapping as long as they’re made in different ways? It’s also possible overlapping codes will overwrite the least relevant item. Skaia knows, after all, everything you will ever do, so in your Timeline, you may have items allocated for all sorts of random codes ensuring you never apparently run out of combinations, even though if you started to intentionally make stuff just to exhaust combinations, you’d run out of them in due time.

Nope, only if they ascended on the Crypt or if the Prototyped one were the Dream Self- If it’s the Sprite who dies on the Quest Bed, and it worked, then the Dream Self would ascend with none of the features from the Sprite. The question here is IF a Sprite can ascend dying on the Quest Bed. I’d imagine yeah if it’s the Alpha? But it’s hard to tell.
I think you can only ascend on the Quest Bed if you are your ‘main’ self, that is, your not-Dreamself while you have a Dreamself still alive.

If you die on a Quest Bed without a Dream Self you just don’t resurrect, you’re just dead. It’s also likely you need to DIE on the Quest Bed, so even if you dragged the body to the Crypt you’d still be unable to Ascend.
Chances are the sprite would work though- Dream Selves operate weirdly outside of the Time-Space Continuum.
Chances are they’re all sort of randomized through the genetic code. Also, you can deploy an Ectobiology machine for the Frogs, likely you can just increase the size of that one if it came down to it.

Rosesprite. Seems like the God Tier powers stick, whether the conditional immortality ALSO sticks, it’s hard to tell, since we’ve also NEVER seen a Sprite ‘die’ outside of Spritexploding due to Stress.
She was Dead yeah, but there’s no reason why the same entity being prototyped before or after death would change much! In fact, if after dying a Heroic Death she comes back with her God Tier powers, chances are if prototyped Alive they’ll also be there.
Their explosion seems to be because Sprites just allow for extreme distress to make that happen- We do know Heart Players can mess around with Souls so, as long as it’s not a body that can self-destruct? Sure.
Jake is the only character in Homestuck we know of whose God Tier body is actually his original body, and not his Dream Self.
I mean, ‘intercepting on death’ it’s kind of a weird thing to do? If anything, I feel you’d have better luck having a Rustblood Troll around to just commune with the Soul and let them hang around. Also of course, there’s the fact of the Bubbles being a Feferi thing and likely that not everyone goes there.
I’m pretty sure only a villain would raise baby clones of yourself to become vessels in time something went badly.
