I've just learned about witch and familiar, and I would like to know what kind of familiar could a witch of blood or a witch of heart have ?

I’d like to think a Witch of Blood could be a relative, perhaps yourself for a Witch of Heart? Or a Splinter of yourself at the very least, some alternate version. That’s for more symbolical though I’m sure you could have like. A Bloody creature and some kind of Ghost if you wanna go more literal. I’m bad at coming up with Familiars.

Horrorterrors are the easy answer. “Nothing” would be ironic but also maybe, plausible? 

For all muses and lords have the followers? And are they always leprechauns?

Leprechauns are exclusive to a Dead Session it’d seem, and maybe to Caliborn’s Session, and other Dead Sessions would get other followers! Muses and Lords, however, just by their nature of Commanding, are likely to have, if not followers, at least a good group of friends.

Are dead sessions always a Time challenge? Caliborn's was, and alt-Calliope says hers was the same, but those are kind of the same session so maybe that's not a general pattern? I could see them being a random Aspect, unwinnable by any player of a different Aspect. The minions would be related to that Aspect too in some way.

Seems like they’re a time trial- Not a Time trial, just a time trial. It’s designed to be unwinnable by design, but being a Time Player, and specially a Lord of Time, seems to have favored Caliborn to do the impossible. Dead Sessions aren’t a challenge, or a trial. They’re a punishment. In fact, I headcanon that even if you win a Dead session, you’d remain stuck in it, unable to leave it, just. Alone, forever, unconditional immortality not letting you die. It’s not meant to be fun or challenging, it’s just unfair. Buuuut he got the express way through Juju Succ, the lucky bastard.

So how do the other iterations of English exist in their universes? After fucking with Alternia he presumably went to Hussie’s mansion and then to the furthest ring.

The same way we have Jack English. He doesn’t go to different Universes- Different Universes are infected with the Cue Ball (Scratch’s Seed) and/or Lil Cal (English’ Vessel). Doc Scratch implies having hijacked the First Guardian process of many other Universes, thus bringing LE into said Universe eventually, while the mere presence of Lil Cal (Transmitted through Nightmares), is enough to possess someone and channel English’ Soul through their bodies. So yeah. He’s born anew every time.

Is it... Okay for a Mage of Void to be terrified of the Eldritch? None of my friends seem as scared as I am when talking about it...

how would breath players react to horror terrors like rose? (or pretty much any aspect that's usually i guess light and bouncy?)

Each person would react differently, including people with the same classpect. However if we’re going with Breath as Detachment? They may just shrug and be like. “yeah okay, cool i guess.”

Could you explain muses and their powers? I thought a muse of time would be able to lead their friends in battle by knowing their enemies' actions ahead of time, but something you said a while ago made me think this was untrue. How do muses powers work?

It’s hard to tell because we only have one example canonically, but let’s see. We see, with Caliborn, that Time itself bows to him, he Commands it. The entirety of the Alpha Timeline is shaped by him. So, as I have mentioned before, there’s a Passive-Active dichotomy with Selfishness vs Selflessness, but not necessarily power-wise. Callie draws and her Fanfiction affects the story of Homestuck, her Creativity and her Drawings Command the Story as well, and in the very end, her God Tier self takes direct action to Conduct Space and collapse it, Commanding the End of the story. In this way, Calliope and Caliborn’s powers are actually extremely similar, channelled differently, and through their respective Aspects, but near identical in their reach and their effect on the story.

But then, much like how Sylphs seem like the ‘Healers’ and how Pages are the ones with the ‘Potential’, even sharing the same verb, Muses and Lords are very notably distinct. Caliborn rose to power, took control over the narrative and the Timeline. Conversely, Calliope became completely isolated from everything, away from everyone she loved. Much like the paths presented by Yaldabaoth, Calliope was a Martyr, Caliborn, a Conqueror. This is where the apparent tendency of the Lord and the Muse seems to show through, Muses must Endure their Aspect to rule through it, Lords take their power and hold it with very little limit. To be successful, Muses must Endure and push through, Lords must Contain themselves, lest they fall into Tyranny. At least that’s how I see it.

What will happen with a muse of times quest? Cause I am one, but don't want to be in a loop like English because that sounds kinda boring

No idea. Quests and what you do with your powers is highly individualized- Enduring the pass of time and influencing the Timeline and what must happen made me describe them as sort of Fate Weavers in the past, but it depends?

That makes sense. I myself I guess am "enduring time" because I'm in a stressful loop that keeps repeating every day and I can't find a way out because I'm not an adult yet. That to me seems like I'm "enduring time"

I imagine you mean a Space Nomadic species, in which case, I think they’re not supposed to play SBURB, it’s implied Cherubs are a species that’s just not made to play the game, which is why Caliborn and Calliope are such oddities, specially Callie, so maybe the same goes for nomadic species.

I mean, if we go by his blood he’d have to be a Canries. He’s candy red blooded, and his sister, who shared his same body, was Lime. (Another Lime tone, but still)

I’m pretty confident in being a Capripia. (Derse+Light) but I keep going back and forth on the lunar sway. I can be very adaptable, but I find it hard to let go and live in the moment sometimes. The fact that I keep going back and forth makes me think Derse but I can see both. Do you have any advice on how to make up my mind?

Honestly? Not really, Lunar Sway can be extremely ambiguous.

What do you think about classpects/ signs for Joey and Jude? (Mainly Lunar Sway and Aspect) I always thought Jude would be Derse and Joey Prospit, but the Aspect idk. I’ve heard Light for Joey, but Jude struck me more as Light or Mind and Joey Hope or Heart. What do you think?

I still go for the Maid of Light Joey and Seer of Doom Jude, but I have no idea about their Lunar Sway. A lot of people are torn about whether Joey is Life or Light or something else, but I think what sells Joey being Light to me is the fact Doc Scratch is contacting only her on Act 1.

Hi! Im that one sylph that has trouble chosing between breath and light (again, sorry, I'm indecisive) but lately I kinda find it hard to separate between both aspects? Bcs light is relevance in a story and breath is how the plot moves forewrd or something like that so as a sylph I would be the creator of relevance in others or... crestor of a story/plot in others? And i don't really see that much difference between those!! Help?

If you can’t distinguish between the more Meta aspects of the Aspects, focus on the more literal meanings. Breath as Air, Freedom, Motion, Detachment, Light as Knowledge, Fortune, Fate, Light.

Most of the class descriptions you have are more related to the associated character's aspect more than his class, so i'm assuming that when the actual class test comes it won't be similar to this.

The Class Descriptions are taken from all canon examples, so they may be partially biased but, if anything, not towards one Aspect, but towards two at the very least.

The Hint System. Whenever you’re Jude or Xefros, it simply doesn’t work, but when you’re Joey, you get messages from Doc Scratch, mainly saying how “Were you expecting this message to change if you kept clicking?” to “I sympathize with your situation, but you’re simply outside of my sphere of influence right now”, but culminating if you try to use the Hint System right after warping to Alternia, where it tells you something along the lines of, “Ah, I see you’re finally in my neighborhood. I’ve got plans for you” or something like that.

And as we know from Vriska and Rose, he has a predilection for bothering young, Lightbound ladies.

Chances are Condy could’ve done that at any point but she waited for the moment Jane ascended to God Tierhood to take over.

Does SBURB/SGRUB players know the name of their planets before passing through the seventh gate or after it has been created?

First gate* They’re likely to be told by the Consorts first, but they could also know if they’ve woken up on Prospit/Derse first. Also there’s the possibility that the title of the Planets is a physical label, like the Prospit/Derse ones.

On the flash at the end of Act 6 Act 1, the one with the song Infinity Mechanism, the ‘PROSPIT’ title sort of like. Literally appears, hovering in the sky, in 3D. Seeing as the HOMESTUCK logo at the beginning has a back, and there’s the THANKS FOR PLAYING label at the end, I’d say there are just some. Labels for Planets and Titles that are actually there.

I find it funny that "Derse" and "Prospit" are physical labels, it's like breaking the fourth wall; first-timers assume it's just a text that'll disappear after some seconds, but in reality it's a concrete block of text that's literally besides the respective kingdom

When browsing through the EZ Signs I was disappointed to see that Arcen's wasn't the sign of the pyromaniac or something of that sorts. Missed out on a good pun.

Also, though they have basically the exact same sign, Gemrius and Pipia aren’t the same aspect.

There are some pretty similar Signs, some feel like the design is arbitrary- For example, you’d imagine the one that’s basically a Sagittarius Arrow through a Leo sign to be Heart, but nope. It’s a little bit strange.

When you say a prince can struggle with ego, could it also be a lack of ego? Like, say a Prince of Breath or Hope who suffers with a lack of self confidence or self worth? Not sure if Dirk counts for this.

That’s a way to see it, similarly a friend of mine got Heart in the Canon Aspect Quiz, and didn’t like it because they weren’t obsessed with their Self- Until they realized they were SELF Obsessed, as in, with the concept of the Self and oneself rather than specifically on themselves. I could see a lack of Ego being an interesting Prince Twist.

Maybe? Specific control like that would fall under command too, I guess, but that’s the most mundane use for Time Powers I’ve ever heard and I love it.

You could make a case for a bunch, if not all of them, but also not necessarily.

Dave single-handedly dismantled the Crocodiles’ Stock Exchange- Then again they HAD a Stock Exchange to begin with. They’re definitely not smart, but also can be clever in their own ways? I’d argue the two smartest Consorts are Casey, and Mushroom Salamander.

Fuchsias are likely a pretty important event, but Karkat was born with candy red mutant blood and went apparently largely ignored, so perhaps they could too? Fuchsias will live as long as they don’t threaten Condy’s sovereignty, which means once they grow old enough to become Empress/Emperors, they’re fucked. There are Male Jadebloods, they’re a female-dominated Caste, but it seems to be a Tendency. I’m also still crossing my fingers for next week’s Jadeblood to be a guy. Please WP. I beg of you.
