July 2018

So I was reading a fic and I absolutely had to share the fact that shows like “dr Phil” and “dr Oz” that slove problems between two or more people was equated to ashen porn

Oh my god that’s perfect.

Was sleeping in sopor a thing on Beforus? I'm pretty sure the reasons for sopor sleeping didn't exist there but most fanfics I read has sopor on Beforus and I am so confused now.

Sopor on Beforus wouldn’t make much sense other than just for normal sleeping? Like, it is still a soporific, and it still heals minor wounds even if preventing violent Chucklevoodoo Nightmares isn’t a factor, it still sounds like a cool place to sleep in.

what makes nepeta or feferi derse? from the official descriptions they have a lot of prospit features

I’ve talked about it already, Hussie leaves the Prospit/Derse divide quite ambiguous in general, and directly exemplifies Vriska and Nepeta.

So, we know that when the Black king start the reckoning, the players have 24 Hours to defeat him and sent the Genesis Frog into Skaya. But what about the Reckoning? does it continues? can the Frog be harmed by the Meteor or something? Bec noir target directly the Frog in Cascade so...

The White Sceptre initiates the Reckoning. It’s only logical using/destroying the Black Sceptre would have the opposite effect, stopping the Reckoning.

Following my previous question, that mean that if the space player didn't complete his quest in time, the group just need to defeat the black king? that's kinda against the whole 'Time limit' of SBURB

That’s a good question but I’m not quite sure how much of the Session would require simultaneous stuff. Likely you can use all that extra time once the Reckoning has stopped and just go do the Denizen and Frog Breeding afterwards? I mean for all intents and purposes as long as the Session doesn’t Detonate or die off from some external factor, you don’t even need to Win to have like, several planets and cool powers to take advantage of, so maybe.

Just have a thought: After the game end, in the Hypothesis where the door that lead to the new universe stay so they can come back to the session (I don't think that ever was confirmed?) If the player want to do alchemy, where do they find new grist? likely after the 'End' of the game ,Monster probably stop spawning or something (with the defeat of the Black king and Derse with it) Also, i wanted to Thanks you for taking time to answer all of the stuff people ask, you blog is really neat :D

The Denizens create the Underlings, so they could be commissioned to make more if any of them are still alive. Other than that though, it’s also likely the Grist Hoard gives an infinite surplus of Grist aside from being used for the Ultimate Alchemy.

And the door does stay there! Jack and co go through it in the Snapchats, long after the Kids have left into the New Universe.

Au where a derse dreamer (who is the first one to wake) has already killed the royalty by the time the session starts and is now in control and making peace with prospit

There’d likely be some external factor- Black defeating White is spoken of as inevitability by design, so if the Royalty of one side has been taken down, chances are the same’s true for the other side, and it’s all just a big Null Session.

Wasn't black defeating white mandatory for the human/troll kids on account of the reckoning?

It serves several purposes, but yes, primarily, the Main Session of a planet NEEDS to begin the Reckoning, so that the Meteors can be sent through to seed the planet in the first place. But on a Session without a Frog Temple, just started as one of many somewhere where SBURB was made widely available… I guess there’s no reason not to kill the King quickly.

That being said do remember- In the same way the King and Queen are tyrants, they are also rulers. They keep things in check. Take the King and Queen out of the equation, and you’re not freeing the people- You’re immediately letting the rogue agents who may have had ulterior motives run free without supervision, and that can honestly be harder to take care of than Royalty.

There’s also the fantasy of taking down the Royalty by yourself, even unprototyped the Rings can summon the Red Miles, and the Queens are total badasses, not to mention, have a Royal Guard. So it’s not going to be as easy as ‘oh just take the royalty by yourself pre-entry’.

I meant the player defeating them becoming becoming the ruler of derse btw

Yeah, I am saying that. Is not really. As easy as you make it sound.

Back to the God thing, all doom players would be slotted as the emo death god, and all life players as the gentle peaceful nature god

Meanwhile Jane is a goddess of Businessmanship and she’ll bankrupt anyone that tries to slot her as the peaceful nature Goddess.

Was it ever confirmed that all Doom players have two dreamselves or is that because of the person, like the Captor's duality theme?

Never confirmed, up to anyone’s guess really.

so i’m analyzing a character. his personality basically screams thief of space; in canon, he has (indirectly) stolen from others in order to obtain resources to create a new universe in only he will reside. he’s also very solitary most of the game. my sort of... problem is that he has a huge god complex as well. of course, not everyone needs to 100% fit into their classpect, characters included. could he still be a thief of space despite having very heavy... hope vibes? if that makes sense

God Complex ties into the Thief Class actually so that works.

… Also are you trying to Classpect Cyrus, the Leader of Team Galactic?

I feel like Remele is a thief of space, but im kinda cautious about it due to blood colour links n stuff. No idea bout Konyyl though

I didn’t look much into Konyyl. But while the Thievery is strong on Remele, it could very well be as well- However I also picked Pageish and maybe even Bardish vibes from her.

could someone be a maid of hope even if they don’t particularly care to be open about their sexuality?

Yeah, same as someone may be Light with more of a focus on Relevancy or Luck, you don’t have to take the whole package of an Aspect.

Remele being of higher blood than Tagora, can Tagora really sue her for art theft? I mean I'm sure the caste system established on Alternia wouldn't care or even let Tagora's accuse Remele

Tagora is just a Legislacerator, think that he’s part of a firm and Remele’s only one caste higher. Besides, Teals are stereotyped as the Law Guys, so they’re likely to be involved even with Violet affairs.

Your blog is amazing and I just want to thank you for putting in so much time and effort answering all of these questions!! I’ve honestly learnt so much lore and classpect stuff from your blog, and your just asfdfsdfsdgds amazing

Aw thank you very much! :D I really am just a Homestuck-loving nerd with too much time on my hands, but as I’ve said before, I’m glad I can share a little bit of my thoughts on the story!

how the hell did konyyl obliterate a room full of experienced bandits which included at least one psionic and one teal? even if it boils down to "olives are natural killers," there was like.... a FUCKTON of bandits in there

Hey there were two Golds, but we don’t know if they were Psionics. Other than that though, she’s just That Brutal.

I was thinking about the Condesce's psionics, I mean they must cause her a slight amount of pain to her since it's not natural for her Caste to have psionics right?

I’m pretty sure if they do she doesn’t care in the slightest.

according to the extended zodiac, would hussie be a prospit dreamer (since hes likely to be a true virgo n all)? also, love your blog!

Danke! And… That’s a good question, but he may be Derse since all of his Self-Inserts are Derse.

On your Rogue/Theif masterpost you made, under rogue of Doom it says they 'steal void for others'

Whoops, thanks!

has there ever been an official statement on why cohen or shelby left the what pumpkin staff?

They didn’t leave the WP staff- Everyone did. Kind of everyone? And yes they did, there’s been restructuring of the WP staff likely because of money issues, but Shelby and Cohen and James and Poinko are still in the periphery of the project- Not hired but still actively promoting stuff and James even did some freelance work! Actually- Shelby is STILL in the team didn’t she draw some of the Friendsim art?

Either way, they’re focusing on the Friendsim to get popularity and money, and once they’re able to they’ll be brought back and resume development of Act 2.

If Jane died and went in a dream bubble, do you think she could still use her reviving powers on others? -🐼

Yes, but it’s likely she’d need the body, not just the Soul- So she wouldn’t be able to like, resurrect Ghosts, only if someone came up to her like how Feferi healed WV.

Would it be possible for my oc to make dreambubbles when they already exist I and create some sort of paradox?

Feferi made them for their group of friend, it’s actually not certain if anyone other than the main cast can use them. So go wild? The Furthest Ring is Noneuclidean, things just don’t follow a natural time progression.

So you probably know the answer to this because you're the ultimate homestuck, but is the reason for all the failed sessions because of the supposed curse Sollux puts on Karkat as seen in page 2026?

Nah, first of all it’s highly dubious the curse even had any effect on THEIR own Session- But to imply that influence would spread to the entirety of Paradox Space from a dumb computer code, that’s absolutely preposterous!

No, the code that fucks everything up that you’re thinking of is only slightly different than Karkat’s.

image

is the extended zodiac site down?

Yep, seems the severs have some malfunction once every few months since this happened before.

So it’s common knowledge the strilondes have a thing for green (dirk - jake) (dave - karkat who’s a mutated lime) (rose - kanaya) (roxy - calliope) but i realized IT GOES EVEN DEEPER cuz rose’s sprite^2 had the hots for Nepeta i’m dying

Let’s be honest though who wouldn’t love Nepeta, specially the cat-liking Humans.

Karkat asks Jade (right before cascade) "WHAT THE HELL IS SHAVING CREAM." do trolls not shave? Or maybe Karkat is too young to grow facial hair? Or maybe just ignorant? Maybe they have something similar for shaving hair but they just don't call it that.

I mean they’re bugs, the fact they even have normal hair is weird, so a lot of people see them as having no facial or bodily hair of any kind.

It’s also possible they just. You know. Call it something else like. Whipped Follicle Cleanser.

Disliking Nepeta is illegal

It is law.

Do you think Hiveswap will return the homestuck fandom back to what it once was?? Will the fandom ever be as creative, zealous, and flowing with new ideas as it was before??

In my opinion the Homestuck Fandom is in a better state, creatively, now than before. I don’t think it’ll get big in the way it did before, but I’d hope it becomes more well known and widely appreciated.

Is the planet on which Calliope and Caliborn lived Earth C?? Since it has the meteor in it, and statues of liberty? Or is it some other version of earth?

Yep, that’s Earth-C several million (?) years in the future!

what do you think when people say Homestuck died or got so confusing/irritable that even the creator didn't know what he was doing towards the end?

I get sad, really, for different reasons. When people say Homestuck died, they say it with the same intent they say things like FNAF are ‘Cringey’ or games like Undertale should Die. It’s a trend online, where things that get really popular are immediately dumped into the cringe category, and assumed that they have to die within the year. People will defend watching Classic Movies or playing the same nostalgia-ridden games over and over, but god FORBID you have fun enjoying modern content in the same way as if it was a Classic. And when a franchise that’s already deemed cringey or dead continues, it’s either ignored and still assumed to be dead, or confusingly wondered why it’s it even still going, as if there aren’t people that totally do enjoy it. I hate this kind of attitude, towards any content, to think enjoyment of something has an expiration date is absurd, and specially when there’s still content coming from both the author and the Fandom, but people are so caught up in their accusations of Cringe and hatred that they just don’t care. They just shame something popular until the Fandom is reduced only to people who genuinely like the stuff, then mock said people as if they were the whole of the ‘big obnoxious’ Fandom they used to be. Not saying this is the exact case with Homestuck, but it’s definitely the same attitude.

And when people say that Hussie didn’t know what he was doing towards the Ending, I feel it comes half from most people not even knowing what Homestuck IS about, and half from people not liking to admit they can not like something and that something can still be good? Like, even if you don’t care about Homestuck on a deeper level and you just follow it for the characters or the base storyline… Yeah, the comic had an open end? And there could’ve been more interaction with the characters towards the Ending. But that doesn’t make it bad and wrong immediately, the Ending was still intense and enjoyable, and Hussie heavily encourages the Fandom to produce content around it with it. People have this mindset that not enjoying or getting the Ending immediately means all the years that came before it are somehow erased or ruined and latch onto catchphrases like “The Retcon changed everything and made things worse” and “Hussie just wanted to finish the story quickly”. The latter of which is baffling to me because Act 7 and Collide were both ordeals to create, and the Ending was incredibly insanely bold. If Hussie just wanted to get the story done with he would’ve killed off everyone he didn’t think was relevant, had a big fight with LE and everyone at the end and made everything concise and simple. LE is defeated, Kids win, the end. Instead we got symbolism and the fabric of reality coming apart at the seams and a glimpse at the future and still obviously lingering stuff like John’s depression and Terezi seeking Vriska. That’s not what ANYONE does when they’re rushing a story. That’s what someone does with an intensely symbolic open end planned. That’s maybe what someone intending to go more in-depth about this in the Epilogue does, too. And that’s the thing- Homestuck is so heavily symbolic. It’s a Creation Myth, and a Puzzle, both said by Hussie himself, and it sticks to these roots, it sticks to the symbology it creates and the Gnostic references and the Meta. You may NOT like this, but. It’s how Hussie built the story? And saying this is bad because you personally don’t enjoy delving deeper into it and piecing the puzzle together does not mean the Ending is objectively bad. Buuut that seems to be a trend lately where subjective opinions become law and people bandwagon on it because it’s easier to be part of a hateful hivemind than thinking critically about something and your opinions. Again not saying this specifically applies to Homestuck, but it’s a trend I’ve seen in other Fandoms.

I was reading Dirk's wiki page and like. He needs a fucking hug??????? He needs 30 fucking million hugs??????!

People hate a lot on Dirk! He’s actually a really nice guy. He realizes that he’s manipulative and can easily force his friends, so he tries to better himself and be more like his brother. He’s a socially awkward bean that barely knows how to interact with other people in person. Sure he fucks up a lot but, he knows he fucks up, and it haunts him. Also a lot of bad stuff people attribute to him are projecting Bro or Lil Hal onto him.

What I think is REALLY annoying is when some people like Homestuck and never complain about the art style but then complain about the Steven Universe art style not being consistent.

I personally dislike the complaints about SU’s artstyle not being consistent most of the time, BUT I could understand the difference between these two cases. For one, SU is a cartoon airing on Cartoon Network so it’s made more professionally than Homestuck is. Then, people working on the SU crew are on the same page about how characters should look and act- Whereas a lot of the art in Homestuck is influenced by headcanons of the specific guest artists. Finally, while cartoony, SU has a specific look, while HS’s look evolves from bit to bit, not to say it plays around with the ‘blank slate’ look, where you only get some prominent characteristics like the hair shape and that they wear glasses and otherwise you can go wild with other headcanons, making them inherently more malleable. You can go from Hussnasty to Hero Mode to SBaHJ and then have pixel art and detailed guest art of the characters within the next flash, and that’s just how things are because it’s how the story plays around with art styles.

Also one of the big artstyle complaints in SU I’ve seen is like, showing the first episode, then a more recent episode? You can compare among recent episodes if you want, but you cannot put the first Episode as a comparison point because the artstyle itself has evolved a LOT since then.

The Alternian Empire supposedly conquers aliens, but do we have any confirmation these aliens even exist in their universe? The troll kids have been indoctrinated enough to not be surprised by meeting aliens, but we never see or even hear a description of any, except the ones from actual other universes, which is weird because one would think they'd use alien slave labour or eat them or something. It wouldn't be OOC for the regime to be lying about the aliens, would it?

We’ve only ever seen Alternia. Alternia’s a space-faring intergalactic empire, if they spread outwards from Alternia and have conquered as much of the Galaxy as is implied, Alternia sits squarely at the centre of said Empire. Have you seen how brutal they are? They already have their slave labor on the lowblooded members of their own society, they likely just. Destroy everything in their path with no prisoners taken. Aliens would be much more likely to appear on the outer rim of their System than going right to Alternia. There’s really no reason why the regime would be lying about Aliens, when we do know the only reason Condy couldn’t make it in time to stop the Vast Glub was because she was conquering planets really far away, and she’s got enough expertise conquering alien species to single-handedly conquer Earth with just herself and fear.

I’m really rather offended by the suggestion that I must be latching onto popular opinion or misunderstanding the comic if I hate the ending. There are numerous things I could point out here about why people hated the ending, but here’s a dissection of the idea of it being an “open ending” and a dissection of what actually happened at the end which I think are relevant.

What can you even take from this meta-narrative? “Stories are oppressive and bad”? “People don’t have arcs, no one ever improves or even changes in any way that is not complete and total destruction”? (Because I swear, no one can change in this thing without becoming such a huge mess their character needs to be retconned back to square one or stuffed into a fride or something. Unless that character is Dave Strider. It’s like some sort of character stability entropy). “Shit just kinda happens and trying to find meaning or uphold some sort of moral standard is pointless”? “In every pair of identical twins, one should be disposed of since it’s just a copy of its sibling”? “I, the author, am a complete and total jerkface”?

Maybe I wasn’t concise or clear enough in my last post- I’m not saying everyone who disliked the Ending is wrong. If I did I would be going against the very thing I’m criticizing in my post. I am saying that it’s not good to excuse your dislike of something in the pretense that the Author got bored or lazy, and that things can be subjectively good or bad depending on what you enjoy, without needing to put something in a Universal Pedestal or Bash it as if no one could ever enjoy it.

I haven’t read the links yet, but from the excerpt you’ve sent me it’s already attacked Hussie as a total jerkface.

What can you take from this Meta-Narrative? Not that oppressive stories are bad, but that conditioning and tyranny are. Hussie is an author. He’s the author of the story and he’s seen as a goofball that doesn’t do much within the story. And then he gets killed. By LE. A tyrant that takes control of the narrative, both in Youth literally taking over the comic, and as an Adult where his powers shape the landscape of the entirety of the story. The kids don’t escape the story because stories are bad and oppressive- They escape it because it’s a story that has been built up by an awful manchild and left nothing but misery in his wake. And in turn it’s telling a Gnostic Creation Story- With Lord English as the Yaldabaoth of the comic, as the False God-like force that causes suffering, and managing to escape his grasp on the Material World.

The characters are flawed, and most of them do not manage to confront these flaws directly, which is not to say they do not grow in the slightest, and the Retcon did most CERTAINLY not set ‘everything back to square one’. Take Rose, for example, so many people seem so frustrated about her ‘development’ in the GO Timeline and how it’s ‘gone’ with the Retcon and I just cannot see it. Vriska stopped her from drinking- That’s it. She stopped her from making that mistake. But Rose tells us, directly, that she drinks to get closer to her Mother, because of her unresolved issues with her. Then she meets Roxy and it only reinforces the idea that she really misjudged her mother, completely. Then Jasprose makes doubt herself even more- Because that’s the thing, Rose’s issue is not about Drinking, it’s about her Mother and Identity. Compare this to Dave and Dirk. Sure, Dave had a heartfelt chat with Dirk- But he didn’t have a talk with Bro. He used Dirk as a proxy for Bro, in the same way Rose uses Roxy to learn more about her mother and change her perception. And Dave even states it up-front, that he’ll just go back to bottling things up and will need to talk it out afterwards.

Because issues don’t just get solved, and disappear entirely. They don’t fix what’s wrong with them- They find people that support them and they’re comfortable around, and build a relationship where they can reinforce each other and stop their flaws. And I think that’s way more relatable than if everyone had a Feeling Jam and then never talked about it again- They’re all teens with PTSD that’ve been put through Hell and Back in order to free themselves, and now they’re able to shape their own future however they see fit. Some deal with it better, other worse. Others, like John, lose their direction, and it makes sense as he was the Protagonist and now that the story’s over he doesn’t know what to do with himself! Terezi’s one of the most interesting characters in Homestuck and the Retcon only adds to her Flaws and her Character, and she cannot move on from the past, from her flaws, so she keeps chasing after Vriska even after the Ending! And whether that is Healthy or Unhealthy, she has the support of her friends back on Earth and still contacts them as we see in the Credits, at the very least.

What my post before talked about was PRECISELY this, that if you’ve read all of Homestuck and what you came out thinking was “Shit just kinda happens and trying to find meaning or uphold some sort of moral standard is pointless” and “In every pair of identical twins, one should be disposed of since it’s just a copy of its sibling”, you’re missing the moral core of the entire story, and while you can dislike the Ending for these reasons, they’re subjective opinions! Homestuck doesn’t tell you ‘shit just kind of happens and it’s all pointless and all copies should die’. Homestuck tells the tale of a powerful entity that shapes the future of a bunch of Teenagers without them realizing, and forces them through unfair and hellish trials that don’t benefit them at all. Homestuck tells the tale of the negative influence a toxic society has on the development of a group of Kids. Homestuck tells the tale of these Kids breaking their conditioning and the shackles imposed on them by this oppressive force, and that while they’re flawed and doubtful, in the end, they manage to push through it, and build a future for themselves, free of these bounds that’ve been holding them back all their lives.

And regardless of you liking the execution of the story or not, as a basis for a narrative in this day and age, that is why I hold Homestuck to have so much importance and relevancy. It talks about pushing back against an unfair society, to build the future you want. It teaches about sacrifice and acceptance. About corruptive and manipulative influences, about everyone’s wills coming together in trying to not let someone else’s will be imposed over them.

Whoops posted this to the wrong blog. I will add in the same way some people are biased in disliking the ending, I too am biased in liking it! So take all I say with a grain of salt, this is my opinion too and I can get a bit defensive about it. Sorry if I came across insulting or condescending to people disliking the Ending before, but I do genuinely believe there’s a big misunderstanding with a lot of the themes in Homestuck and how the story develops.

Can you just imagine some lucky alien fuckers fending off the alternian army barely, nearly defeated when the trolls all of a sudden just start dropping dead

They start celebrating and insulting the Empire, when Condy takes an angry 5-minute detour to their Planet and just tears them apart before heading back to Alternia.

is it ever implied that the trolls were the result of someone elses sburb/sgrub session? if not would it be safe to just assume so?

Karkat’s 48-symbol Alternian Zodiac implies their Universe was made by a 48-person Session. Hussie jokingly said it was 48 Squiddles playing SBURB.

Would it be sensible at all to say Bro is the Dirk that didn’t know he was fucking up and didn’t bother trying to better himself when he did?

Dirk himself literally calls him that. “I could see how I could become someone like him if I were left unchecked.” It’s also likely Bro may have known his actions weren’t exactly the best, but when faced with solitude and the impending Death of Humanity, didn’t know any better than rigorous, insane training and bad parenting.

It still seems a little weird that, if that’s the case, none of the trolls we’ve seen have even mentioned any previously discovered alien species (except the cherubs but I don’t think they’re a naturally occurring species; they’re so heavily tied to the game that I’m pretty sure they’re from another universe entirely or maybe created by the game itself). One would think they’d say “oh, you’re an alien? you look just like the ones from planet XYZ” or something. Even if there aren’t any aliens on Alternia, surely the propaganda about them would at least say what they looked like? And I was imagining they were using the possibility of conquering aliens as a way to encourage trolls to agree to leaving the planet.

That’s assuming Aliens are easily categorizable, all three Alien species we see in Homestuck are Humanoid but, if Condy’s expanded the Empire so much, chances are there are hundreds of different Species with their own special stuff and all. Also Hussie wouldn’t give THAT much thought to the empire, let’s be fair.

Also Trolls don’t need encouragement to leave the Planet. They leave the Planet. Or they die.

48 player session holy fuck would that have been a clusterfuck and since we dont see any mention of said players im guessin non of em (or at least little enough of them to not be noticed) made it to alternia after winning just like the trolls didnt manage to get to earth cus of jack... huh really makes ya wonder what happened there

I mean, it could also easily be that the winners of their SBURB Session are on a different planet somewhere else in the same Universe, or they could all have been killed/died post-game.

Im sorry if this is a dumb question but who the heck is skipper plumbthroat?

I’m not up to date on my Squiddles Lore, but he’s either another Squiddle, or the Villainous Fisherman/Pirate of the Series. I can’t quite recall the lore consensus.

Pretty sure he was a villain, hope this helps whoever asked!

#JustLittleSquiddleThings

Actually Hussie DID get lazy because he didn’t do an act about all 48 Squiddles

I remember him once joking he was killing off all of the characters to ‘make room for the 48-Squiddle Session storyline’.

the supposed epilogue is actually going to just be about squiddles

This is canon now y’all guys I hope you’re ready for the 20-year-long Squiddle Epilogue Storyline.

Horrible thought. Vikare is another name for Icarus, and we have two members of a murder cult who are named the Soleils. Think this is foreshadowing anything? D: D: D:

Oh my god that could definitely play a role. Welp. RIP Vikare, we knew you well, you wonderful War Documentary-speaking Boy.

Also congrats, this is post 5000 on my blog.

I had a thought: if hussie ever started a new series it could probably get the whole ass fandom back to how it used to be or close. Hopefully not as chaotic

I don’t know, I wish I could say yeah, that’d happen, but I’m not quite sure.

I don't think Peak Homestuck Fandom levels of popularity will ever happen again, but yeah, I think if Hussie starts something new it could be a big hit. I imagine fans of his other work would be attracted to something entirely new, without the burden of the complexity the universe of Homestuck/Hiveswap developed. His writing is still great and hilarious, I think what turns people off is the sheer mass of the lore, and becoming bored with the concepts.

Just by the way Hussie talked about his creative process in the past, and after doing Homestuck, I don’t quite think he’s capable of doing something without a similar vibe? Not that he wouldn’t be able to do something entirely different- I mean look at his old work, Hussie is one creative motherfucker. I mean more, he enjoys complexity and exploration of new themes and weird stuff to the point where, unless he’s intentionally holding back to do something milder than Homestuck next, whatever comes next is going to have a similar degree of complexity and weirdness.

At least if it's a weird thing people could read it from tbe start so it'd look less overwhelming

Honestly I think that’s kind of a big disadvantage? Having it all be laid out there in front of you from the beginning lets you take it at your own pace and in the long term benefits a lot from letting you remember things that happened some time ago easier, and not leaving plot threads hanging so long you forget them. Hussie himself said Homestuck was made to be read archivally- Maybe some people prefer reading serially, but at the same time, the story suffered from the pauses. So it’s a pick your poison situation.

If cherub was to make it to their quest bed and Resurrect into god tier what would happen? Would both personalities god tier since they inhabit the same body

Only the God Tier one. It’s also probable they’d have to predominate before going God Tier.

I hope for Friendsim they make the Soleil twins together like they did with Kuprum and Folykl

Of course they are. They do everything together.
