ok so like. what purpose does prospit and derse serve? and like what is the significance of a player being a derse dreamer or prospit dreamer? also was it a game constuct or not? cuz lots of players were able to access it before the game even started
Prospit and Derse exist before Entry, and the Planets have lore as if they’d always existed, even though they only appear on Entry, it’s sort of weird Lore stuff for those places. The differences between being a Prospit or Derse dreamer, is kind of hard to tell actually, since Hussie has showcased the outliers and showed us it could be kind dubious.

Would roleplaying a page count as roleplaying a passive or active class, since they begin with roleplaying as passive? I think that maybe if the roleplay is a healthy one, you roleplay as an active page, but if it's unhealthy, you roleplay as a passive page, (same thing about knights, but reversed +/-,) but I want to hear your thoughts about it. (Example: like if a prince was forced by others into a very unhealthy page roleplay it would make sence for them to be act very passive I think.)

I get why people dislike Zebebe because of the fan-fiction thing, but do people not remember that our lovable and amazing Calliope also wrote some mature fanfiction of our beloved Alphas? Answering one of yesterday's anons: the main lore difference between prospit and derse dreamers is that prospit dreamers get to see the clouds of skia, while derse dreamers are farther out in the furthest ring, and I believe also hear the whispers of the horrorterrors. This creates the optimism/pessimism theme from the official quiz.

Eh... I think Gamzee is "more then mind control" trope. Like, LE pretty much is this opressive narrative force of which Gamzee came to be aware of and his detachment from his friends (who sort of disliked him entire time) and growing sense of despair (and his faith that LE indireclty nurtued thru Alternia culture) caused him to pass mental point of no return when he looked in Cal's eyes and was infodumped by evil creepy doll on the matter of his fate (so only a bit of mind control)
Also, it should also be taken in consideration that Gamzee is Bard of Rage and thus is sort of “vulnerable” to what’s behind “the curtain” (if we take “Rage is a power of plot holes” theory as true) at least until he manages to overcome it (he never really does, despite actively exploiting Rage in his hijinks). So crisis of “we are characters in a story and thus nothing matters” hits him hard. To think about it, he is like… Monika from Doki Doki?

Time Travel is situational, you go back or forward in time on the spot you’re on, you’d always be in the Session if you Time Travel in the Session. Just get on any of the MANY ways to actually go back in Time to your planet instead.

Exactly, that’s the thing that some people wonder. Like… Is he being manipulated if he’s being indoctrinated? We’ve seen Gamzee either completely High, or following in the footsteps of his Ancestor, or following LE- Is he a victim of his environment? Yeeeah, but the thing is, a Gamzee who’s Sober and not doing something Not Good, regardless of the reasons, kinda doesn’t exist, so. There’s a big gap to fill there, and debate to be had by people who like Gamzee.
The deal with him is, I feel, not what Gamzee IS, but what he COULD BE, and given we don’t know what he could be, it’s all very much fanon ideas and hopeful thinking. Something like that could only be possible if, you know. Gamzee’s half that wasn’t sucked into LE was resurrected, for example, in a world without Caliborn or LE and brought to Paradise Planet.
And even then I kiiiinda wouldn’t trust him.

Any theories on what exactly happened to everyone who was in the general vicinity of the green sun's black hole/the death of Lord English? What happened to the beta kids, did they get "used up" in the attack, or were they freed? If so, along with the other God Tiers who were around, assuming they didn't die a just/heroic death, are they just stuck in there? Why doesn't Jade or Muse-Calliope just remove it or just move it away with Space magic? Is Muse-Calliope even still existent?
I don’t think Witch of Space powers, specially powers extend to moving or closing up a Black Hole made from the biggest Star in the Multiverse, specially when the power of said Star is no longer superpowering her. Also Calliope literall collapsed herself to make the Black Hole in the First Place, she IS the Black Hole, if she is even alive she wouldn’t want to close it, she MADE it.
I am really hoping Vriska got sucked in with LE, honestly, but for all we know she could’ve survived. Davepeta, Aradia and Sollux are in a sort of limbo of existance, but everyone else was a Ghost- Already Dead, so no dice for them.
As for the Kids, I don’t personally think they were ‘freed’ by the attack, so, yeah. Used up maybe is an interesting word to use for it.

Yes, there’s a bit of an apparent tie between Void and the upholding of certain societal values, which may have to do with Void’s ties to the Material. Ironically, with Light being the World of Ideas and Light, Void represents the World of Darkness, the Material World, and as such, it ties in well with oppressive societal structures and philosophical values.

with regards to that latest void-related ask you published, i feel like void has a kind of duality within itself. on one hand, it's the social constructs you blindly follow, choosing to leave yourself in the dark and just trust in them. on the other hand, its also about casting doubt on those same constructs, questioning where they came from and what value there is in following them, if there is any at all. does that make sense?

They my have actually done worse were they to start older. There’s a very big chance Karkat would’ve died at some point in Alternia, and most of the Kids may’ve had it worse too…
