I’m having trouble with what makes a Lord different from a Witch, can you help?

I could see the trouble with the difference, Change and Command are similar, given the Manipulation connotations with Change.

The biggest differences between a Witch’s Change and a Lord’s Command, is the intensity, and their will.

A Witch pushes for a change they perceive is positive, they alter something or themselves to make it better, but they also suffer for these changes. There’s a balance of powers that push and pull, and they struggle with the will of something or someone regarding their Aspect.

A Lord, in turn, doesn’t necessarily alter things because they want to bring change or because they want to bring something they think is positive- They change things because they rule over them. They have gained full and absolute control, and their will, as such, isn’t at odds with that of their Aspect. Rather, their Aspect’s will reflects their own. And so they shape whatever they want and do whatever they want with it.

The Change Classes struggle to keep control, and their influence goes both ways, seeping into their environment, and being changed by their environment. But for the Lord, they expect things to favor them, once they have gained control, there’s no struggle against anything. They rule, and their Aspect obeys.
