actually, I have a theory about vriska's status of being dead. caliborn gained unconditional immortality from breaking his clock with the crowbar juju, right? well, in one timeline, spades slick broke vriska's clock with the same crowbar. assuming he did it post-retcon as well, then vriska should theoretically be as unkillable as Lord English.

This is definitely a thing I’ve seen people talk about, but it misses a huge point of Caliborn’s Immortality, and that is that, he didn’t just break the Clock. He broke the Clock and absorbed the glowing Majyyk bullshit. Jack also only briefly battered it around, and Scratch just kind of zapped it back to a fixed state afterwards. Not to say, it seems the Clock represented the Judgement of various characters, appearing to be more of a ‘look’ at the God Tier Judgement rather than the physical, individual clock for each of them.

But even if Vriska was as unkillable as Lord English, that still wouldn’t mean she cannot die. That’s the point of the Black Hole Calliope makes- Given English has subjugated Paradox Space through the Alpha Timeline, the only way to fully erase him is to destroy Paradox Space itself. He’s bound by his hubris, he’s the Villain, he wants to break shit and be feared in Paradox Space, and by that, he binds himself to the rules of Paradox Space. Similarly, Vriska follows the rules of the Alpha Timeline in her own way, she makes the Villains because she intends to Defeat them, she breaks the rules and tries to insert herself as the Heroine. She falls victim to the very same hubris English does, she doesn’t try seeking a way out or seeing beyond- She just wants to be the best there is within the Story. And Calliope tearing down the Story, means that both ‘Protagonist’ and ‘Villain’ are no longer required.
