how do jujus work?

Jujus are strange in that they seem more like Meta Items or McGuffins than actual physical items from the setting. Concepts, or Plot Devices. There’s the Clock that displays visually the concept of God Tier resurrection, there’s a Lollipop which activates in canon what was, until now, a Cheat Code/Easter Egg in previous flashes, a Ring that brings a Character to Life, what is basically the Villain’s Horcrux… No beginning and no end, unique and potentially cursed, the best way I can describe them is things that ‘make shit happen in the story’.
