I think oathes and pledges can be cathegorised as doom (mixed with blood in some cases). While oathes seem to be just blood + doom (with oath of allegiance being the most bloody sort of oath)

I can see the ties to Blood, but Doom? I see oathes and pledges intrinsically more as Hope than Doom, but that may just be me.
