Regarding the queen's twitching finger, it's got an interesting story. Originally, it was an animation error, but after seeing the flash in motion, Andrew Hussie decided the "animation error" looked pretty badass so he decided to leave it in.

I’d have done the same honestly, it works on various levels, to draw the eye to the finger like “Hey, Ding Dong the Queen is Dead”, and also the twitching post-death thing that just looks cool in general.
