It’s an allegory of sorts- I never thought too much about the deeper meaning of it, rather I just saw the ‘Floor’ as his Mind, and the Hole as the Rot caused by the Sopor Slime. Now that there’s no Slime, there’s no more confusion in his mind, and he’s not ‘being stared up at through the hole’. Because there’s no hole. He’s what he was supposed to be at last.

As for my favorite Gamzee Quote? Well, that’s gotta be this one:
