I always wondered why Times colour is red and not white, since Spaces colour theme is black. Then I remembered that Caliborn is the lord of time and his blood is red.

And while the Space outfit is Black with a White Symbol, Space Powers are generally bright Green- Like Calliope. The Red-Green Duality is pretty huge in Homestuck.
