I find it weird that the Dancestors are the pre-sratched version of the Ancestors, yet they have completely different personalities and completely different appearance. Take Meenah for example; she isn't as vile as The Condesce or Aranea not being as bold as Mindfang.

Well, they grew up in completely different cultures, but also given the chance Meenah would ABSOLUTELY be like Condy, and after getting a bit encouraged by Vriska, Aranea is very much capable of being Mindfangish.
