Are there any true limits or disallowed behaviors in a viable session of Sburb? Considering the only known time limit is the Black King summoning The Reckoning to destroy the White Army and Battlefield in, presumably, its final form to cause a loss for the player, and the fact that its been shown possible for players to destroy or outright weaponize the meteors to spare the Battlefield from destruction, (Part 1)

Can Sburb even be called a game where cheating is even truly possible when seemingly nothing is off the table and, considering God Tiers potential and Alchemy, the options and methods at any players disposal seems quite malleable and nigh-infinite? And of course that raises the question does any of that matter when so many sessions, even normal viable ones, seem pre-destined for failure and disposal? All simply because thats how it’ll all happen in the Alpha Timeline? Thoughts? (Part 3) (Final)

I. Didn’t get a Part 2, weird. Let me see if I can infer the whole message from the beginning and the end…

Okay, there’s a thing to take into account when dealing with SBURB as its own monster, separate from the twists and turns we see on Homestuck. Because, the Loop of the Alpha Timeline is a sprawling series of events leading towards Lord English, and so while this means what’s ‘supposed to happen’ is enforced by English’ Time Loop, this arguably, only affects the Sessions with direct input in his creation. If another Session happens on Beta Earth, it would be arguably outside of English’ Loop, even if it’s still possible he influenced some events that happen there as well just by the vast reach of his nightmarish influence and his love for destroying everything, whatever the ‘Alpha Timeline’ is in that kind of Session, if there’s ANY Alpha Timeline at all, would be completely different. The Alpha Timeline is nothing more than a self-fulfilling Time Loop- The Kids play the Game because the Game created the Kids and they need to enter to exist in the First Place, for example. Anyone not made by Ectobiology, and without direct impact on Lord English’ Story, would be exempt of the rules of the Alpha Timeline, and would need to adhere to whatever Timeloop THEIR Session is restrained by, if any.

So from that basis, normal SBURB Sessions would potentially allow a much larger degree of freedom when it comes to doing things… Potentially. Because as the story tells us, what’s the difference between complete predestination and being able to do anything at any point? If what was ‘supposed to happen’ happened because of the will of the people playing the game, is it truly predestination? If you could be a completely different person in another Timeline, are you truly You? So when we get into this kind of territory, whether something matters or not, whether it’s predestined or not, you are the one who has to give an answer to this question, in whatever specific situation it’s being presented.

That being said, SBURB Sessions are so Hyper-specific and potentially dangerous that most Sessions are destined to fail, merely by the nature of how the game is built. So to counter that? There’s no behavior I can think of that SBURB explicitly disallows, other than starting a Solo Session, in which case SBURB pretty much gives you the Middle Finger and throws you into Gay Baby Jail to die horribly with a nigh-impossible Time Trial. Hell, look at Rose- She pretty much ignored her Quest, channelled the Horrorterrors to give her power, destroyed Game Constructs and pretty much anything in her way, and there was no security measure in place or anything that stopped Rose.
