haha, wow now i'm imagining a thief of hope as someone who starts out super blunt pessimistic and logical, so they tear down other peoples fantasies so they can think properly. and only after gaining both hope and some good friends. then they can act as someone who helps people see beyond their own beliefs and delusions while using the stolen hope to help themselves and the group to their goals
