Considering a class like Slyph of Life should be almost always played up as a Healer in the traditional RPG White Mage kinda style, what offensive twists on Slyph of Life powers could you find to be debateably plausible? My first thoughts for this would be summoning the dead/souls of lost allies and using Life to allow them to fight once again, or growing aggressive plants and flora to fight with you or on your behalf.
I feel the Souls thing would be more a Heart thing. Raising a dead body, however? Like a Zombie? Now we’re talking. Necromancers are just Healers applied to the Dead after all. Overgrowth of plant life works well, and taking the ‘Agency’ bit of Life, the Sylph of Life may just do what they want or let others do what they want just, empowering speeches or even spells.
Also unique take on Life powers: Forced replication of cells or messing around with the Genetic Code to make fast growing cancer cells in their enemies or produce gruesome bodily mutations.
