i headcanon my prince of doom and maybe others that once they reach the very top of their echeladder that they get a new weapon a scythe and basically become Grim Reapers

Death itself just drags their ass out of the Afterlife and hands them the Scythe. They also bring tea and some board games in case the Prince is not feeling up to it.
