Is light and dark symbolism inverted for trolls?

Not necessarily always, but there are some notable examples. Vampires are creatures of darkness, dwellers of the night, but since Trolls are Nocturnal, Rainbowdrinkers can handle the Alternian Sun perfectly and glow in the dark (Because the Brooding caverns are dark af arguably).
