Could a maid of life theoretically use life powers to make something rot to the point of disintegrating? or would that just be a strictly thief of life power.

I’ve argued that Maids and Sylphs of life may be able to make Illnesses and grow cancers and mutations within others. Rotting seems more getting rid of Life rather than making it though, but who knows.
