Fittingly for the Rage player, Gamzee pretty much toys with the reader expectations as both a comedic and plot device to get things where they need to be. I wouldn’t say he’s truly a ‘Deus Ex Machina’ since the stuff he does is sort of explained and sensical for a worshipper of Lord English, but fuck does he get on your nerves sometimes.
