Have you ever noticed the parallel between the Furthest Ring and the Far Lands (from Minecraft, a very old version of it)? Both areas are so far out from where you're supposed to play, both areas get "glitchier" as you travel further (the Furthest Ring's spacetime physics distorting and breaking; the Far Lands' game mechanics and physics breaking and glitching out), both are strongly related to glitches and game exploits. They're also both so damn mysterious.

I mean, the Furthest Ring is more tied to the concept of a Non-Euclidean, Fucked Up, Eldritch and Incomprehensible Void beyond the Universe, if anything, it’s amazing that the glitched borders of a Minecraft Map happen to coincidentally capture this same Lovecraftian feeling.
