Did Calliope's and Caliborn's Chess Juju ever get a proper explination as to what it does? Or is it literally just a chessboard for them to while the hours away with?

Meenah mentions it being a Juju, but honestly there was nothing special about it other than the fact it was a Red-Green Cherub Chess Set.
