If gamzee doesn't die then what the heck happened when kanaya chainsaws him in half???

It’s not that Gamzee doesn’t die, it’s that there’s no Ghost of him anywhere. The mere fact Prospit was blown up is, in fact, a hint that he likely did die at least once? The Gamzee Paradox comes into place when you consider there’s never been a single Ghost shown of him, and the only instance in which we saw how he died was also in like the worst possible Timeline- Which is also concerning given he was split in Half, and we know Gamzee dying split in half is how part of him gets into LE? But that’s a theory for later.

There’s really few explanations for why this happens- Maybe it’s, as I’ve theorized, that they just kind of… Don’t become Ghosts if they’re indivisible from the ‘Alpha’, there’s no divergence in personality or goals between Gamzee from that Timeline and Gamzee of the Alpha, so he takes preference. It cannot be just because he’s part of LE, because there’s Equius ghosts going around the Bubbles. It could also just be stylistic, maybe there ARE Gamzee ghosts living in the Bubbles, just never shown. 

Currently I’m starting to think that, maybe Gamzee died… Once? Like- He may be his own Dreamself, and not his main Body, or perhaps both his Body and Dreamself are active and around? Dreamselves are weird, operate outside of the flow of Time and Space, and can merge with the Alpha, sooo if Gamzee were his own Dreamself, maybe just maybe he could survive long enough, you know, being bisected, somehow, to merge with the Alpha?
