The kid's consort species are all specifically herptiles with aquatic species, which I've always assumed is a way to make them thematically closer to frogs. In a way, they're all amphibians, cause while they're not all in the taxonomic group Amphibia (salamanders are though), they all live both on land and in water, which is the broad meaning of the word. But obviously peope can do whatever they want with headcanons and fan sessions :)

However if you’re looking for the most likely canon scenario, chances are if there’s even more than just the 4 types of Consorts we see, they’re gonna still be Herptiles.
