I literally had no idea that a scratch was an actual term in pool until yesterday

Yeeep, it’s a triple reacharound in fact- Scratch as in a Disc Scratch, but then Scratch for Doc Scratch as both the Pool Term, AND an old name for the Devil, the Old/Mr. Scratch.
