While we’re on the topic of Terezi: Remem8er, that scene with Eridan and sollux aradia and feferi, did it sort of imply they forgave him for the shit he did? Cause like, they didn’t look like they wanted to punch his face in.

I imagine they saw the version of Eridan riding on Shrek’s shoulder with cotton candy and just wheezed their hatred out.

They tease him about it constantly and he still has absolutely no idea of what a Shrek is.

In all seriousness, as we see with the existence in the Bubbles, it’s not that you ‘forgive’ others a lot of the time, rather that… Grudges become meaningless because everyone is dead. There may still passive-aggressive disdain but there’s no way for there to be any more retribution for any past acts than being forever trapped in Teen Drama Echo Chamber Hell. But I could also see Feferi forgiving him, but keeping a little bit of a grudge beneath surface level. She’ll throw a punch and stop it halfway to see him flinch and constantly, constantly be all up on him reminding him to not be awful. She feels being his Moirail is draining, but without any risk of him going genocidal in the Bubbles, and showing some regret about what happened in hindsight, she’d be all up for being a dick to him and never letting him live it down.
