I have a theory of why Hussie was cosplaying Calliope's trollsona when he faced English [and died]; it was to parallel the fight between Calliope and Caliborn and how Calliope would lose, due to being a Muse, the most passive Class in Homestuck

I should point out that while he does have Calliope’s Horns, he’s quite evocative of Calmasis as well, Alpha Rose’s parallel to the Calliope-Caliborn Duality. If there’s something to take from the outfit, it’s not just Caliborn beating Calliope, but also disregarding their natural Predomination thing and just going in for the quick kill.
