Are cherubs naturally aware of their counterpart, or were calliope and calliborn just exceptions because they were able to communicate with each other?

Nothing indicates they’re unaware of their counterpart, so it’s likely Cherubs are at least somewhat aware of their consciousness kind of being unable to control their body while their counterpart is doing stuff.
