Definitely Karkat locking himself into Trolling John backwards because he messed up by going to the very end of his Timeline and didn’t subsequently jump back to the beginning, fulfilling his own circle of stupidity in which he’s friendlier the less John knows about him, and is angrier the further ahead John goes.
