Can you explain how a succesful Bard would work out like if they weren't villianous?

I mean, Cronus is not Villainous, he’s just an asshole. You can see in his original devotion to Magic and his fate to defeat a great Evil, that he had a pretty similar relationship with being the magical hero as Gamzee does being a servant of Lord English. Bards seem to be kind of obsessed about something, wholly chasing after it, with deep convictions, and getting disillusioned can have quite the nasty effect on them. Soooo, say a Bard is devoted to their Friends. As long as there’s no Betrayals from those friends, they will do everything in their hand to obliterate everything that stands in their way.

Obliterate is a good word.
