One thing that kinda makes me sad is that all the current versions of the kids/trolls are livin the life on earth c while all the other previous versions of them (doomed timelines/dead versions/etc) are just dream bubble or w/e Like all those dead karkats are.. y'know.. dead while the current karkat is just.. on earth c, alive and well Kinda makes me feel bad for all the previous versions of the characters y'know??

It’s the price to pay for the Alpha Timeline’s awful requirements and the choices each character takes. However they still form their Ultimate Self altogether- All the choices they could’ve taken down the line, dead or alive. In a way, the Ultimate Self not only gives relevance to the many dead versions of the characters- It adds canonicity to all the Fanfic versions of characters.
