(sorry if this has been answered before) is there only one mothergrub for all of Alternia or are there multiple?

It’s possible there are Multiple, and there’s at the very least ‘Virgin Mother Grubs’ to take her place were the main one to die, but the comic sort of implies there being only one of them.
