Joey has a lot of Light symbolism going on, but acts IMO nothing like the canon description of Light - I don't think she is fiercely going after knowledge or luck. I feel a Light player would watch all her mum's videos at once to know everything about her, or not fuss so much about the grossness and dangerous objects in Dammek's house to poke through and find more information about it. She reads like Life to me, but... I'm wondering if her mother was Lightbound and that's where it's from.

Problem is her Mom could be both Life or Light, and she could either be Roleplaying Life or Light and being the other. Her ties to Light come more in the realm of Imagination, Puzzle Solving, and her desire to Perform and be in the Spotlight, while her Lifey ties go along with the cooking, the animal care and healing… It’s a complicated family relationship she has and I really want to see more of Joey. Likely by the end of Act 2 we’ll have a better look into her psyche, since she’s beyond her Home and dealing with Alien stuff right now.
