Again, theres no real thing to say about the jade thing, as it happened in canon . Aranea AFFECTED the clock with her luck. Hold on ill get the page

www,homestuck,com/story/6652 here it is! Jade’s death wasnt fully just, it was around in the middle, but araneas luck made it purely just

I know the page, and I know that exactly, what I’m questioning is the validity of her being lucky affecting the Clock in the slightest, rather than it being a tease on Hussie’s side making us believe it was going to land in the middle. She is lucky it stuck, regarding her plans- But… Is she really that lucky at all? Again. It was a textbook definition of a Just Death. What I am arguing is that it would’ve stuck regardless of Aranea being lucky or not.

Jack’s intervention was intentionally left ambiguous by Hussie if I recall, so I’m arguing the same holds true for Aranea’s intervention and how much it actually impacted such a death.

Edit:

And jade wasnt killed by a hero, as Aranea was not acting the least bit herioc. Scratch’s description of godtier deaths dont seem to be as black and white as he makes it seem.

If anything that may have been what Aranea altered, making the Judgement consider her Heroic enough. Her means are villainous, but in the end she IS doing what she’s doing for a Heroic Cause, trying to take down Lord English. She goes fucking crazy when her plans start to break down, but her case is similar to Vriska’s- Trying to do some big act to make themselves be Heroic in the eyes of Paradox Space, only to be struck down as a Villain.
